I stayed one night, they were friendly and kind. And I like their breakfast. And the hotel was closed to the beach, 17 mins away by walking or 5 mins away by cat where was beautiful. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, restaurant with outside patio view with waterfall, walk bridge over the little pond with golden fishes.Room is clean and nice view look out patio. Swimming pool and hot spa. At night with live music and we have good time there. Completed breakfast buffer are free. Overall I rate this hotel are **** 1/2. Seascape, State park beach, Capitola by the sea :restaurants, shops and beach or Santa Cruz boardwalk. Highly recommend fun for every family to find a good location and free breakfast for every family.

Great location, convenient. Room was great, nice flat screen, great beds. Pool, workout room...wish I could of stayed longer.

Excellent for a tired traveller. Excellent bar facilities and really good restaurant. A very enjoyable experience!

Great place! Great location! Very friendly staff! Very good breakfast!

This hotel is right by the freeway and they tell you they don't guarantee that it will be quiet. We were in the hotel section right under the cars going by. They don't disclose this part of the hotel experience. I never would have booked it. The air conditioning and heating unit smelled really bad when it was turned on so we didn't use it as we wanted. It is just an old property and needs upgrading. The breakfast buffet is really down scale. Dirty wet plates, long lines.

This hotel is affordable and nice with the exception of the beds. The staff is very nice 5 stars in that regard, and the grounds are tidy. The koi pond is fun for kids and the restaurant has pretty good food. There is a free breakfast each morning that was good. I stayed here twice in June, and my strong complaint would be the beds are horrible. I was in two different rooms so I'm sure it's not an isolated incident. The beds are probably at least 10 years old if not more, so it's frustrating as I love everything else about this hotel but the beds are awful.

Clean room and friendly staff. Very nice landscaping.

A two night stay close to the coast was made even better by the on-site restaurant. The waitstaff was very attentive and had great recommendations for food as well as local things to do. Rooms were clean and relatively up to date. The room balconies and patios on the courtyard were very nice for a morning cup of coffee in a serene setting.

The hotel staff is awesome. Met all of our requests ground floor level, view of pool and landscape. Comfortable king bed and clean room. The restraunt dinner and complimentary breakfast were excellent.

The hotel was beautiful and the breakfast was sooo good!!!!

Waaaay to many kids. Walls are thin. Although not a sell out weekend we had a crummy location on the property. Also upgrades are needed.

We were very pleased with our stay. We loved the private patio with the landscape outside our back door. Complimentary breakfast was good & hot. We will return!

The courtyard is beautiful; it feels like you're at a resort. The restaurant was excellent. The food was great for dinner, and the staff was very accommodating. The free breakfast was good. It was a small buffet. My only problem was that I was put in a room RIGHT NEXT to a group of young men who were drinking and smoking and having a good time. Unfortunately, I was there for business, so the front desk (with only a little hassle) moved me to a quieter location. The hotel lounge had a cheesy lounge band, but the bar was filled and it looked like everyone was having a good time. I wished that I could've hung out!

Well-kept attractive property with many amenities. Excellent (really !) restaurant on site. Generous happy hour specials on food and drinks. Happy hour extended on big sports nights. Better than average complimentary breakfast. Several casual restaurants within walking distance. Close to Sea Cliff Beach. Easy access to Rt. 1 and, therefore, central coast attractions.

I enjoyed the hotel for the most part and Aptos is a fantastic town. I stayed here because I didn't want to stay in Gilroy/Morgan Hill for work so I just drove the 45min to stay by the beach. It was worth it because Aptos is a cute little town and there were several selections for nice meals. My only complaint is I requested a Non-Smoking room and was placed in a Smoking room so I had to deal with the disgusting smell. Other then that it was definitely worth the value.

Rooms were clean and comfy and free coffee and breakdfast in the morning was great!

Booked King non-smoking. The hotel put us in a non-smoking room with 2 smaller beds. When calling front desk staff to correct the situation, the staff placed blame on using a third party, or bitz, to book the room. They stated we were guaranteed a reservation not a room. After much discussion, they upgraded us to a suite. After being told someone would meet us at the new room with the key, we needed to call to again to get the staff member to bring it. The room was very nice. The room was to include a continental breakfast. The yellow flier with instructions given to us with our key stated breakfast hours 07:00 - 10:00. We arrived at 09:30. There was no food out. Staff stated breakfast ended at 09:00 due to Mother's Day. The staff stated there was a flier in the room; there was no such flier. The staff were completely uninterested in proving what was agreed upon when booking the room and gave us no breakfast nor compensation. I would not recommend this hotel. Rooms were fine. The customer service was poor.

we just slept and left. Im glad it had breakfast, but didn't have any, over slept.

The great reviews were right! Our room was very comfortable, with a nice balcony overlooking a beautiful big garden. Following the garden path around the inviting pool and hot tub (that we enjoyed in the morning!), we crossed a darling footbridge over a koi pond full of big fish that follow you around the pond. Charming...and the kids loved it. Adjacent is the restaurant /bar that had a terrific band the night we were there. It seemed to be a locals hang out, with a lot of people getting up to dance swing and freestyle. The whole thing was really entertaining to watch and hear. A full hot buffet (complimentary) breakfast with lots of choices was served in the same space in the morning. My family of four really enjoyed the food and our stay in general. I recommend it.
