It was tough to not have any convenient food options nearby, but we managed to walk to the grocery store a few times. The staff were amazing - so friendly and fun. The room was lovely, and the private beach was just spectacular.

We have visited twice and during our second visit we noticed a l lot of improvements. Our room had the most beautiful view and was close to both the beaches and the main house where breakfast was served. The grounds are kept impeccably and the beaches are swept daily.

Location, views and surroundings are wonderful.. However, some of the property buildings are rather neglected, especially ours. The walkway tiles throughout are mostly cracked and the wooden hand railings to the steep beach areas are broken or rotten away. We stayed at Bay Grape, a poorly maintained cottage. The first room, #5, I had was perhaps a maid's room, had no dresser-drawers and no table. I asked for a switch and was given #2 the next day which was much better. However most entry- and patio doors were hard to open, somewhat corroded. The breakfast was rather limited, not much fruit selection, but Ronald made wonderful waffles. The staff was overall friendly, especially Bruce and Ronald, but they had problems with their computer at the front desk and thus dealings with them took a long time. I would say this place is definitely NOT for older and less agile and mobile people! It is such a lovely property and a shame that it is not better maintained and taken care of!
