Staff charged my card TWICE, even though I paid for room on Orbitz. So there were 3 charges for a mediocre room. Staff was extremely rude. Still dealing with the bank to get my money back.
The room was nice. Close to the beach but the window had a bunch of dead bugs and there were a lot of bugs in the room ( not bed bugs )
Air conditioning worked well. Pool looked nice and clean. Room could have used a small fridge and a microwave but was clean and adequate.
My daughter and I spent the day at amusement park. We knew we would be to tired to drive home. Before we left for the park, we went through ??? to find the best price an location for our trip. We not only found a great price BUT the room was clean and located close to the park. Great job .
The 1st room we went to was disgusting. There was food crumbs on top of the microwave, inside the microwave was caked with splattered food and wasn't cleaned in months. The refrigerator had food in it from previous guests. Dirty bathroom with used Qtip. Im sure the sheets were not even clean or changed. The room was clearly not cleaned by housekeeping. We asked to change rooms and the transition wasn't bad since the 2nd room was right next door. This room didnt look as bad but still needed a spring cleaning. We sucked it up since we were tired and started to get in bed when I noticed on the comforter a large harden concoction that looked like vomit. That's where I lost it. We demanded our money back.
This hotel was exactly what you want for a weekend at Cedar Point!
This hotel was great for a one night stay near cedar point for a great price. Was not very clean. The non smoking room smelled of strong smoke. Overall, would stay there again if looking for a cheap hotel near cedar point.
For the price and for this particular chain, I expected rundown and noisy, but I was pleasantly surprised. There are some dents and dings, but the room was clean and quiet enough. The beds were OK, and the room was relatively roomy. No complaints at all and the location relative to Cedar Point can't be beat.
To be clear, I was not expecting much for the price I paid (I compared to several other hotels in the area). This was simply a crash pad for the night. Negatives: -Bathroom Door would not shut. -1 Bar on Internet Access -Remote Control did not work for the TV. Front Desk not too helpful resolving this issue. Positives: -Easy Check out -Directly actoss the street from Entrance. Literally, 15 minuteas after leaving the parking lot, we were parked at Cedar Point.
I was there visiting my daughter working at Cedar Point.Hotel is very close to to park, but was also right next to train tracks.I counted at least five screaming trains through the night.Door to room did not close right and the bedding smelled gross.Did not stay for the free breakfast just wanted to leave.I have stayed many times in Sandusky and this was the worst hotel I've ever been to!
great value for a great location. the place is old, outdated and not too pretty, but lets face it, we're here for cedar point, not the hotel. its clean and the staff was really helpful and friendly. breakfast is basic but free. the pool is tiny but clean.
We went to Sandusky to enjoy Cedar Point. This hotel offered a great location and was much cheaper than the hotels in the area. I was please with that. It was just a place to stay so we could get to the park when it opened.
Room was very small, but clean. If you are going to Cedar Point, you couldn't be at a better location. Service was good. Price was very good. Very modest breakfast.
Friendly efficient staff. Dated but clean room. Needs chairs in the room. Pool was fine and it could use some greenery.
This motel is just a couple of blocks south of the Cedar Point causeway, making it an ideal location for those looking for quick access to the park without actually staying in the Cedar Point resorts. Given that this motel was only going to be used for sleeping in and not much else, there was little to complain about. Our room was clean, the complex was very quiet once the outdoor pool closed, and the staff was friendly. The complementary continental breakfast was more than adequate, and checking in and out went smoothly. Small complaints would be that the free wi-fi didn't reach our room and it didn't work that well in the lobby either, the digital keypad on the safe in our room didn't work, and the shower curtain rod was crooked. Those issues didn't matter really considering how we booked this room for $59 and the hotel Breakers Express, just a couple blocks away but still outside the park, lists for $300 a night. If you're going to be hanging out in the room a lot here then sure, it's nothing to rave about at all. But if you're looking for a clean, quiet place to crash in late at night between days at Cedar Point it fits that need just fine. I'd stay here again.
Very close to Cedar Point. Room was clean enough. Just a basic roof over your head for spending a day at Cedar Point.
I expected just what I got for the price. A bare minimum hotel but has a great location if your going to Cedar Point. The room needed to be cleaned way better and the "breakfast" sucked but again I think it was sufficient for the price.
This Hotel is just four walls and a bed nothing more nothing less, the room was stagnant upon entering. I hope to immediately open the windows to air out. It was basically just a place to sleep. I will not stay at this location again.
I was looking for cheap... I got what I paid for. I wasn't expecting much which was a good thing. I will say the bed appeared clean and was comfortable but the bathroom needed some elbow grease. We were there to sleep so it served its purpose. Next time, I will pay a little more.
If your just staying one night the hotel is good. It's poor quality compared to the surrounding hotels.
