The hotel is fine. We stayed for 3 nights. There are a few restaurants close by.

The hotel is in a great location right off the freeway and getting to Cedar Point is like 20 minutes away. It'seems also really close to Gateway Drive Inn Restaurant where they have some really great broastie chicken and fish sandwiches. Walmart and other restaurants right down the road. The best thing is the gal who takes care of the breakfast bar. She is so warm and friendly and helpful and caring that she reminded me of my grandma. She always smiles and was so helpful from helping me checking in early to asking me if I was looking for anything in particular when I was browsing the activities brochures to helping me with breakfast items. She even got me a tray to carry food back to my room be a useful wife and baby were still sleeping. This was for a two night stay and for both days she was so great, helpful, and friendly. She made my whole stay and family adventure to Cedar Point a fabulous and delightful experience despite the sometimes cold and rude crowd and staff at Cedar Point. The hotel room had extra pillows and blanket in a bag in the closet which smelled fresh, Aug nice little fridge and microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, luggage rack, and hair dryer. Towels on lounges by the heated pool and a nice little exercise room. A great hotel at a great price. But the best part of the whole hotel is the great breakfast bar gal.

quiet, clean, as expected. Hotel was not really close to ferry, but it didn't have all of the hustle and bustle of the main strip.

The staff were exceptionally friendly. We had never been to this area before and when we asked the front desk personnel what there was to do when we arrived, she was full of good suggestions, directions and very friendly. My husband even asked me if I thought everyone was really friendly there! The room was clean and comfortable and the location was close to everything we wanted to do. We would stay again.

This hotel staff must strive to make extra money. My husband and I are non smokers hence the non smoking room. We have a charge for 200 hundred dollars so for one night our room was 445.00 bucks wow! I called to speak to someone about this charge and I was told it would be a couple of days before this can be handled. DO NOT STAY HERE. My husbands best friend and his wife are also non smokers and were on a trip down south this weekend and also got the same charge. This hotel is a rip off! Drive to Toledo stay at the comfort inn much cheaper and have nicer rooms and friendly staff it's well worth the drive.

I know first hand the challenges of running a business where any one of a number of employees can turn an otherwise great customer experience into a bad one so I am always forgiving of the inevitable shortcomings that should be expected at value chain hotels. However, I cannot forgive what I believe is an attitude of indifference from management on down. We stayed two nights as this hotel with two burned out lights in the room, no bathroom counter space because it was broken off the wall and wi-fi only available in the lobby. The evening desk person tried to be helpful, but indicated that I should not expect the management to do anything. As if all this was not bad enough, on the morning of checkout, the groundskeepers through big clods of grass and dirt up on customer cars with complete indifference. When I brought this to the manager's attention, I barely go an acknowledgement let alone an apology. There are too many better choices in this area so stay away.

We would recommend this hotel to anyone who visits the Port Clinton-Catawba area. The room was clean, the Air Condition was the quietest we have ever heard, the Continental Breakfast was very good. They had a grab bar in the shower/bathtub which was really nice since we are over 70. We spent a lot of time in that area camping with our children when they were small and we wanted to enjoy the area again. We were celebrating our 58th Wedding Anniversary this time.

STAFF VERY COURTEOUS, ROOM WAS CLEAN CLOSE TO PORT CLINTON AND MARBLEHEAD, WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO HAVE AN OUTDOOR GRILL AVAILABLE

The hotel and its staff was very nice. It was very convenient to go just about anywhere.

It was great the staff was great it was close enough 2 everything but not rite in the middle! It was a prefect 3 days! It's not just a mission statement when they say they want 2 make u feel welcome & at home when u stay THEY REALLY DO IT! They were great! I felt like I was vacationing with family because they were sooooo pleasant & helpful! Great place 2 stay! Planning next years trip & will b bring son & new daughter-in-law also so we can share this experience with them also!

Everything was fine and staff was friendly. Conveniently located but not a scenic spot or walking distance to anything interesting. I would have guessed the hotel to be a couple of years old due to some cosmetic issues in our room but it was described as brand new?? Although 100% nonsmoking, one evening every exit had smokers hanging outside the doors. If smoking was permitted it would be nicer to have a designated area away from the doors. I was surprised for a "new" hotel they opt not to install an elevator.

We stayed at the Country Inn and Suits By Carlson in Port Clinton as the price was great and they offered a continental breakfast! We were 10 minutes from the Jet Express, which was great as we went to Put In Bay to celebrate our dear friends Bachelorette Party! :) We were 3 minutes away from the Mon Ami Winery! This hotel had everything that we needed and check out was not until noon, which was a perk as we were out late the night before! :)

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. I called to let them know that even though i checked the box for a late check in we would not be until after 10:00 PM

Just slept and needed nothing else. Staff was very pleasant.

Very helpful staff, very clean, great breakfast options at the complimentary breakfast. The pool room was very warm; the pool was a bit chilly, but it was a very easy adjustment. Pool was quiet, too. Would have given it five stars except it's a little outdated in that it doesn't have an elevator. There are only 2 floors so it's not terrible, but I was on the second floor so I had to lug my suitcase up a flight of stairs.

[...] THERE WAS NOTHING IN MOTEL INFO SAYING THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE ELEVATOR. THIS WAS VERY WRONG AND I WOULD STAY OR RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL TO ANY ONE. NOT CLEAN ALSO. CLERK VERY POOR IN KNOWLEDGE OF AREA AND PLACES TO EAT.

Booked in the morning. No Problem after Labour Day Weekend- and a good price! Breakfast was compared to what we had seen before very good.

THE TRIP WAS VERY RELAXING. WE WENT TO CEDAR POINT WHICH WAS ONLY 17 MILES FROM OUR HOTEL. REAL EASY TO GET TO. IT ENDED UP RAINING HALFWAY THROUGH THE DAY BUT WE MADE THE BEST OF IT. THE NEXT DAY WE WENT TO A SMALL WATERPARK CALLED MONSOON LAGOON, WHICH WAS VERY NICE- NOT TOO CROWDED AND SEVERAL THINGS FOR THE KIDS TO DO. THEY HAVE GO-KARTS, BUMPER BOATS, MINATURE GOLF, AND THE WATER OF COURSE. IT WAS FUN!!!THE WATER PARK WAS JUST ONE EXIT UP FROM WHERE WE STAYED. THE HOTEL WAS VERY NICE. I WOULD GO THERE AGAIN!

We had a great stay. They had a free shuttle to the Jet Express. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We would definitly stay again.
