Comfort Inn Fremont2.5 out of 5.0

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly, but I was disappointed, as we couldn't stay connected to their WiFi (failing access point), so no internet for two days. The breakfast eggs were dry, rubbery, tiny crumbs of scrambled eggs. Had to eat them with a spoon to get them up. The hot tub wasn't heated (same temp. as the pool). They had just switched to a new TV provider....40 channels of nothing to watch. It was a very boring two evenings with no TV, no WiFi, and no whirlpool. It was also quite expensive compared to the other 5 Comfort Inns we stayed at on our east coast tour.
Big and nice clean room and bathroom. Free W-LAN, good working. Nice breakfast room and standard choice of breakfast service. Free business center. Indoor pool area. Quite hotel. We would always come again.
Decent hotel in a decent location with average breakfast bar with the usual items. The eggs are nasty and taste like they were made from a powdered substance. The fridge in our room had a freezer which is a plus so we could refreeze our cooler packs. In the morning at about 10:40 I overheard the cleaning staff complaining that it was about 11 am and she could get all of her work done because SOME people haven't checked out yet. The other person pointed out that it was only 10:40. Check out was posted as 11am and I didn't think that complaining about paying guests in the open hallway was a good idea.
We must have gone to the same reunion as Chuck M; we were in Fremont for my husband's 50th high school reunion. We were very pleased with our experience. The wifi was the fastest and strongest of any hotel we have stayed in; we had pretty much given up on having a decent connection. Our bed was very comfortable. We were up early the first morning because we were meeting friends, but the second morning we slept much later than we have planned. It was easy to sleep on that mattress! We like eating at local restaurants when we are away from home, so we didn't have any of the hotel's buffet breakfast, but the coffee was good. I liked the fact that we had four towels in the bathroom; too many hotels are chinzy nowadays and only give you two. It was a good weekend, and we'll be sure to stay here the next time we're visiting family!
The room is smallish by today's standards, but adequate. The bed was comfortable. Overall the hotel is tired looking, could use refurbishing, but clean. The room air conditioner was loud and hard to regulate. Breakfast was okay, scrambled eggs were finely crumbly-? egg beaters or over dry.
We stayed 2 nights at the Comfort Inn and Suites for a class reunion. The hotel and our room were clean and the decore was updated. Our room was good sized and the bed comfortable. There was a pool but we didn't have time to enjoy it and there was a very small workout room. There was a free breakfast which was adequate at best. The powdered eggs were terrible, but there was bacon, waffles, cereal, etc. Our only other complaint was that we heard lots of noise (voices, footsteps, etc.) from adjoining rooms. We found it strange that there were no towel bars in the bathroom to hang with towels.
Lovely location just off route 20 bypass to Fremont! This hotel has a welcoming, hard-working staff, nice pool and afternoon cookies! But breakfast must be corporate ordered: scrambled eggs that must be water and powder based as they do not taste like eggs. Menu appears to remain the same as entrees are biscuits and gravy or flimsy bacon and wanna be scrambled eggs. This egg experience has only happened to me once recently in Knoxville at a Hilton....I bet the corporate manager would not eat these fake eggs! I guess my breakfast choice of yogurt or peanut butter on toast has saved me. It could be a deal breaker as we like to come to this area for several days..not 1 night. And I look forward to breakfast....
My second year at the Fremont Comfort Inn, but this time on the 2nd floor. The tub was in a tiny room with the toilet. Cramped. The toilet seat was so loose, I complained downstairs and by the next day or two, it was fixed. The water pressure from the shower was weak and downstairs said it was the county's fault. The sink was off the entry hall. The fixtures leaked water at their base. The gratis breakfast in all the places on my trip - Comfort Inn, Best Western Plus, Hampton Inn - seemed to come from one origin [or package] with watery eggs, low quality sausage and bacon, white breads, and so on with a non-taste that left me not wanting to eat for "free".
This hotel was in Fremont Ohio and the staff was very friendly. I had room 127 on the night 7/18/2017. This a non smoking king bedded room with a roll in shower for those with mobility issues or in a wheel chair. The room has a micro wave and a mini fridge and is quite large. I would highly recommend this room.
It can be tough to find nice hotels that accept pets, but the Fremont Comfort Inn is an exception. The property and rooms are well-maintained. Our double queen room was spacious. Unfortunately, there was a problem with our room and the hotel was fully booked. The manager and staff worked hard to find us a pet friendly hotel--not an easy task at the last minute on a busy July weekend. I will not hesitate to stay here again when we visit Cedar Point!
