right in the middle of La Concha, short walk to old town
My husband and I stayed here for two nights. The hotel is not on the beach but it is in a great location. The room was nice and clean but could use some updating in the bathrooms. Upon our arrival they were doing some minor work in front of the hotel which was not a problem other then having to use a different entrance to get into the hotel lobby. The front desk staff however were not very pleasant, check in took some time as there was only one person working when we came back to get the keys when the room was ready. The following day we decided to go to the beach and when asking the front desk clerk for a beach towel she seemed bothered and rolled her eyes. Saying she didn't think they had any. However when she went to check she came out from the back with a stack of fresh towels and then tells me it would a deposit of 20 euro for them. I asked her to put the deposit on the room charge and she seemed annoyed with that as well. Overall the hotel is nice. It was the staff that made the experience bad. It's amazing how much better your experience can be with good customer service.
We like the fact we were in near the beach, Hotel did not have very much amenity and cleaningWe like the fact we were in near the beach, Hotel did not have very much amenity and cleanliness Was not at the standard of what hotel should be
We had a spacious corner room on the 3rd floor of the hotel which takes up the top 5 floors of a 13 storey building. Was very clean and quiet - had sea and beach views. Convenient location and friendly helpful staff - no problems.
Nothing super fancy, but was a solid hotel and great location.
What a nice surprise! I didn't expect much when I made a reservation at this hotel. It turned out one of my best hotel stays - I'm an extensive traveler throughout the world. It was clean, the location great its staff very kind and helpful, and the breakfast very tasty and carefully presented. I'm definitely coming back.
I have found that Spain is a land of 'No's". I love spain and travel quite a bit, but everywhere we went the answer usually was no until they checked it out. Customer service isn't like it is in the U.S. With that being said the TrypOrly was just okay. They had twin beds instead of double or queen, we couldn't regulate the temperature of our room independently, there wasn't a hotel bar for drinks...all in all not much going on there. I probably won't stay there again.
Our experience was wonderful at this hotel. The staff spoke English and were helpful at check in and check out. There recommendations for places to eat were not my favorite, but they tried. Very clean and safe hotel and close to the beautiful beach. I would love to go back again!
the best breakfast of our two weeks. Nice to be able to prepare one's own coffee/expresso.
