This is a great business hotel to stay in when you are traveling for work. The rooms aren't very big but decent size for a single person. The bed is clean and the bathrooms are comfortable. Breakfast is good, though I missed the eggs. I wouldn't advise it for holiday trips to Madrid if you want to visit the city. It is perfectly doable with just an hour traveling by Metro but again it is an hour before you are in the center of Madrid, plus 10-15 minutes walk to the metro station. I would advise the hotel to review their mattresses, they were a little hard and to look at the breakfast choices. I really did miss the gluten-free stuff like eggs and other things than bread. Also perhaps it's time to update the airco-system. the ones in the room could only go on one setting. But all in all it is a very good hotel for a few nights for work.
The lovely lady who attended upon Arrival had the good taste of offering a quiet Room away from crowded Patio, for a better rest which is most considerate of her. Not to be forgotten, two days earlier was Alberto who summoned me up with last minute promotions that (because of my personal circumstances) just came for my own peace of mind out of the blue literally. Fortunate enough, everything from my luggage was readily accepted as well. And throughout formalities, I was also invited to fresh Apples for a treat. Knowledgeable, articulate, ready to solve and -above all- very professional these excelent Staffers had both taken on their own shoulders the heavy load of keep old Customers while acquiring new ones... sadly the "Globales" board of directors seemed to ignore the absolute relevance of this ESSENTIAL role -face to face CRM- at these very dire days for its Corporation, while downplaying the critical importance of considerate attentive and well educated Personnel. Cannot foresee but wreckage ahead. Pity. On the down side: at Sunday morning (shortly after noon) the young man at Front-desk came upstairs -while Reception was left unattended- banging on my Door, just to make me PUBLICLY aware of the "fine print" contained within the overall Conditions for LATE check-out... utterly unacceptable by any standards, so rude of him! The deep scar he sported over the skull behind his right ear gave me clear hint of some obvious kind of "mild" cognitive impairment: most irregular, to say the least. Not even the early Nicholson would have played a better "mad janitor" role (The Shining, 1980) to scare the hell out of me. I do wish him well on his future assignments, if any.
Services is great. Rooms are small but good. You should take you pillow from home. Bathroom is clean. One small thing. By is easy to get there. But if you come with the metro you have a hard time to get there. At the and of the street there is a bakery. The breakfast is excellent
Had a typical selection of Spanish breakfast buffet, with cheese, salami, freshly sliced fruits (oranges, kiwi, etc). Not gourmet but everything you need as frequent traveler Unfortunately bar was closed upon our arrival at 11pm. Theres a vending machine on first floor with soft drinks and snacks (no beer) mini bar was empty.
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as it was close to my company's office and they booked it for me. Everywhere in the hotel is very clean and the rooms are well furnished, well equipped and comfortable; better than I expected for a 3 star hotel and in fact better than some 4 stars I have stayed in. The breakfast in the hotel was a good continental breakfast (although the tea and coffee were far from hot) but the dinner was very poor. Due to a combination of bad weather and there being very little around the hotel (we did try to go to some restaurants recommended on trip advisor only to find them closed!), we had dinner there every night. Although the menu is quite extensive, the quality is poor. In general the dishes were overcooked, dry and lacking in flavour. I sent my dinner back for being cold on the first night only to have it returned about two minutes later not much hotter than when it went back! The main drawback to the hotel is the location; it's basically in the middle of a housing estate with pretty much nothing around it. It's a long way from Madrid and quite far from the main part of San Sebastian. There is free parking in the streets nearby and I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone who doesn't have a car.
The rooms are not too big but they are confortable enough and very clean. You can get a good continental breakfast (included). It is located in a residential area, so there is practically no night life nearby, but you will be able to get a good rest. I recommend this hotel if you are on a business trip in San Sebastian de los Reyes. The nearest subway station is at 15-20 minutes walking (Baunatal). From this station to madrid-center (SOL) it will take you aproximately 1 hour. Not recommended if you are planning to visit Madrid as a turist.
We chose this hotel based on TA reviews and its position close to our route from France. The Receptionist was very helpful, with excellent English. We had to phone as the address given is a pedestrian only plaza - be sure to check the directions! The hotel allows dogs and there is a big park just a couple of streets away, although dogs must be on lead at all times. The hotel is fairly new and our room was clean and a good size. We were really surprised at the value for price we paid. The only downside was the parking which is underground and exceptionally tight. However, we felt it was very secure. Didn't sample the dinner or breakfast.
Friendly and helpful reception, excellent room, buffet breakfast with fresh fruit, location convenient for barajas airport (taxi takes less than half an hour and costs €30). Quiet neighbourhood. Metro station about 10 minutes walk away.
Very good property, with a decent breakfast for an unbeatable price for the region. Rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable. 24 hour reception, but limited room service and restaurant - however several small restaurants are within walking distance from hotel. The hotel itself is located in a residential area - one of the 'new' suburbs of Madrid, which resembles anything but Spain! Extremely quiet region, dotted by parks and housing, but like many american-inspired suburbs every street and building looks the same - our taxi driver stopped several times to ask for directions, and even the locals had a hard time finding the property! Do yourself a favor and prepare a printed map with clear directions! It is located some 30-40 minutes walking from "La Caixa" conference center in Alcobendas, and 15-20 min from the nearest metro station - be aware that this region is not within Madrid's inner transportation core, therefore public transportation is more expensive, and daily passes are not of good value if one wants to explore the city center only. In short, a good property for anyone who is mostly going to stay in Alcobendas / Los Reyes but, due to its distance to it, not recommended for someone who needs to be mostly at Madrid's city center.
This hotel is in a quiet pedestrian area and is well situated for the city. It is not easy to find, even with accurate directions due to narrow streets and parked cars everywhere! Pre-book parking for 12Euros, it is well worth it. But if you do book and prepay for parking make sure that the charge is not added again when you check out! The rooms are very comfortable and staff helpful. 24 hour reception.
