A group of >10 people stayed here for around 3 days and were very happy with our decision. The hotel is located in a safe neighbourhood in San Salvador (Zona Rosa) so that you can go out and walk around any time during the day. There are restaurants, shops, bars and museums nearby. We walked from here to the fair grounds one day (like 10 minutes away) and even to the big shopping mall Multiplaza (like 25 minutes away). The hotel has a small but very refreshing pool, helpful staff (check in and check out process could be much faster though), a decent breakfast and the prices are very reasonable compared to what you would pay in other chain hotels like the nearby hilton. If you want to explore parts of the city outside the Zona Rosa, you are bound to a car. In our case, we stayed in this hotel due to an event in a nerby location and it was a very good choice.
We booked this hotel based on TripAdvisor recommendations and were very pleased. It is well priced for the area and surprisingly quiet despite the construction activity going on around it. The courtyard is beautiful and a very nice place to have a good breakfast. I would recommend the omelette! The rooms are clean and air conditioning was welcome and working well. The Wifi was very stable. The staff were very friendly, and their English was good which helped with our poor Spanish skills. They went out of their way to look after our luggage even after we had checked out.
We stayed here for three nights. Lovely small hotel in a safe area, we walked about in the day and evening and felt very safe. Right near good restaurants and shops. The staff are very helpful and organised transport from the airport and then on to Los Cabanos when we left. The rooms are lovely, great air con, bathroom smelt a little bit but nothing too bad. Breakfast was great, evening food comes from the restaurant next door and was quality seafood and great value for money. The pool was very cold and refreshing. There is currently building work going on next door and although this is noisy, it’s didn’t cause us major problems.
Very safe area to stay. Lots of bars and restaurants around. El Cadejo craft brewing company is just around the corner and well worth a visit. The restaurant next door which you can access through a door in the hotel grounds was excellent quality and very well priced. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast very tasty. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We asked if there was a fridge and they immediately brought us a mini fridge. There is a very small gym hidden around the back but please don't put the TV on full blast at 6am while exercising as it is very loud in the next room! - yes we had the next door room! Hotel arranged a driver to transfer us to Santa Ana. Only negative was airport pick up - we had an extremely long flight and arrived to find no driver waiting, still no driver after 40 minutes, airport security and the taxi tout found him for us eventually. My advice would be to just take a taxi - there are touts who are licensed and fares are all set.
This place earns well the high scores if gets. Modern rooms with all you need with a small pool in the 'atrium', next to breakfast area (did not try). Location is good to get to many eateries almost next door. If you come to city from the coast, as we did, the bus drives just past the hotel, as if it was your private one. To get downtown is a 20 min taxi ride, if one needs to get there..
We stayed for three nights. We found every aspect of this hotel to be enjoyable. Both front desk staff and breakfast were very professional and very nice - quite eager to take care of us. Rooms were quite nice and clean. We were with another couple, their room was much larger than ours, but both rooms have plenty of space. Bathrooms are large, with plenty of hot water for the shower. Breakfast is very nice with fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee and entree. It was quite good and the server was delightful. WiFi is free and is speedy at 30mb. Beds are quite firm. Overall, we found nothing to disappoint us here, and plenty to make us happy!
Chose this hotel because of an Internet Offer. It was adequately priced in the US$ (50 - 100) range. Not know where the hotel was located. Surprisingly the hotel is literally nested right im the middle of one of the best areas of San Salvador. Hotel is perfectly clean. I do have to report that the hotel is neighbors with a sea food restaurant and their music speaker system is a mild nuisance. Additionally the isle night light enters the room no matter what you do to try and dim it. I imagine it doesn't matter if you come in late after touring the city or a late work night.
This hotel was decent. It was clean and quiet. The air conditioning wasn't as powerful as I would have wanted but it did work. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The receptionist helped me to order some pupusas on my first day and had it brought to the my hotel room. The room comes with a safe and refrigerator and complimentary water. The room comes with a lot of closet space. The breakfast was very good and included.
Lovely, lovely, lovely small boutique hotel on top of a hill in a great neighborhood. Great common areas, helpful staff. Restaurant adjacent through a door at the side of the hotel. Room was quite large and morning breakfast was fresh and very quick. Parking adjacent was safe and efficient. Beds harder than typical American style, fyi.
This hotel is a lovely hotel with great amenities. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and includes a safety box. A delicious breakfast is included in the price and served on the patio. It includes several selections with full service. There is a wonderful restaurant with fine dining next door. The staff is very friendly, efficient, and most helpful. We felt secure and enjoyed walking in the area.
