This was an amazing hidden gem in San Salvador. I was shocked out how beautiful and elegant the Sheraton Presidente was. My room was huge with a big balcony overlooking the pool. The food was absolutely amazing especially the ceviche and the prime rib burgers. There is a hookah spot connected to them yo relax smoke and sip drinks. We also did spa maasages through the hotel. I definitely recommend the Sheraton Presidente hotel in San Salvador and it is located close to everything in the heart of the city.

Efficient check in & restaurant personnel. Clean room and very, very well located. Safe parking facilities for guests.
The hotel basically was in bad need of a face lift. Very little upkeep has been done to this hotel making it surprising that they even have kept this brand name on the door. Downsides: Old and poorly maintained; old a/c and bathrooms; restaurant was terrible and over priced. positives: free internet in room and lobby wifi was blazing; pool was nice though nobody ever used it.
The hotel is in the main capital and everything is near, but it's more of a hotel for conference and business people. Althought i must say it's was a quiet and restfull place.
The charges of the hotel were expesive. They charge $1 a minute if you make phone calls to a cellular phone. The hotel is beautiful. however the experience was disturbed by the worry of being charged twice for the stay. It took 5 days for orvitz and hotel to clarify my package ( hotel air) was prepaid.
