Days Inn by Wyndham San Marcos

The room smelled like stale cigarettes. We couldn’t get past it the entire night. Tried to air it out but it was beyond help. Also tried calling the hotel a few times prior and after check in. They don’t answer the phone.

Days Inn is more inexpensive compared with all others. Their accent was partially different but their overall breakfast & benefits were entirely helpful. Their location is slightly within the lower suburbs outside but their overall value is entirely worth it.

Comfortable and clean, the hotel is close to the highway and everything you’ll need for a short stay. The room has a/c, fridge, microwave and coffee maker, all were clean and worked well. It was all we wanted for a night’s stay.

Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable. Nice staff, continental breakfast was ok. It was surprisingly quiet room for being right off freeway. Room had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker which was nice. Good parking. Safe neighborhood. Did not feel endangered in any way. Overall experience was quite good.

The knobs for the a/c were loose and hard to control the temperature. The sheets still had stains from food dropped by previous guests.

The bed was not so comfortable but the price was affordable

We stayed for just one night and it was comfortable. Breakfast left a lot to be desired though.

Room was deplorable. Strong smoke odor for a nonsmoking room. Pillows and sheets were stained. Wall outlet hanging loose, dingy carpet, toilet paper holder rusted and loose, housekeeping removed shampoo from shower and put different kind on vanity. ..why waste perfectly fine shampoo? Beds were stiff. Pool water was green. Don't waste your money or time with this motel.

the hotel was nice and cool..it was a hot summer. shopping and dining was close and easy to access. shopping was great especially at the outlets.

just remodeled so everything was new and very clean the staff was pretty cool great location right off the highway near a bunch of stores and food places great spot for shopping

fire damaged one building the other one look like the Bates Motel when I checked in I was the only car therethe hotel is not where I would ever see you again the morning free breakfast included toast white wheat or a small yogurt or oatmeal orange juice was available from d dispenser and was not very good the coffee was not very good

older hotel- room smelled a little musty. Comfortable beds continental breakfast was ok- not a lot of choices of foods. Small dining area- only 4 small tables

Staff was very friendly, rooms were average and clean. Breakfast was very basic but that was enough to keep us going.

The staff was VERY friendly and helpful . It was on the I-35 service road but quiet . Such an old complex but with a gigantic flat screen tv and plenty of channels . The main light fixture in the room on the ceiling just flickered . The bathroom was almost clean and with a decent tub - many low cost hotels have only a tiny shower . Their were plenty of excellent towels . There was a hair dryer , microwave and fridge . The bed was quite comfotable and the sheets clean . I would definitely stay again .

We stayed here for our daughter's graduation from TX. State. Room was clean but smelled of smoke even though non smoking. Chairs and carpet stained. Shower was good. Toilet ran. Trains at night but got used to it second night. Complimentarty breakfast was poor. Staff was very nice.

People polite. Breakfast ok but could us more fruit and better coffee Probably would stay elsewhere when i return to TX

If youre going shopping to the san marcos outlets, this is where you should stay if you dont want to spend so much in accomodation and more in clothes

The room was better than I expected, but I had low expectations since I read the reviews before booking. I booked a non smoking room with two queen beds. It was fairly clean, no disturbing odor, bathroom was clean, AC/heater in working condition. I also like how there was a fridge and microwave in the room. The lady who checked me in at the front desk was friendly, but other than that I did not really interact with the staff. Another thing is you get free wifi. I was here to visit Texas State and it was close by. One thing that may bother other people is that the hotel is near train tracks and trains do pass by frequently. The noise did not really bother me though, it was not too loud. Overall, I would book this hotel again.
