Location is great, otherwise it’s minus 5 stars. No shampoo or body wash, no elevator which is needed when you get 5th floor and have 3 suitcases. When you ask for shampoo they argue that you should have 2 in the room!! Didn’t know what to say!!!

Very old structure as expected, but I did like location with about six alleyways that went to it.

First, the location is wonderful for the price. There were mixed reviews, however I really don't think that it matters that there are stains on the carpet leading to the room because I thought the room was very unique And very close to main attractions. The absolute best thing that I can say about this hotel is that I accidently left my tablet in the room and when I realized that I had left it, I contacted the hotel and they verified that they had it and stated that they would send it back to me. I gave them my address and thanked them. It really doesn't matter that it took over 2 months to get here because shipping from Europe to US is quite slow. However, it is very important to point out that this hotel acknowledged that they had my tablet, after I had contacted them, and they stated they would mail it back to me and they did! They never even asked for any reimbursement for mailing it to me. My experience was wonderful and after having my tablet returned to me it was above and beyond anything I would ever expect. Thank you very much for the exceptional service!!!

Bed was uncomfortable but room was nicely decorated. Breakfast was average. Clean room but the building cold use upgrades (cracks in the walls and floors). But overall good hotel with a great location.

The staff ,for the most part, were less than friendly, almost " put off ", whenever we needed assistance ( even something as simple as giving us our key). Most of the receptionists did not speak English, which made communication impossible ( the wait staff we encountered on the same trip to both Florence and Venice were very much more receptive, which allowed us to see how they should have behaved). There is no elevator which meant we had to lug our luggage up and down to the third floor. The drain in the bathroom sink was very slow. Overall the unfriendliness of the receptionists spoiled our stay there.

hotel was expensive, no elevator, not recommended .

Super bien ubicado, habitaciones pequeñas. Tuvimos problemas con el A/C y no nos lo pudieron solucionar hacia mucho calor. La habitación tenía un olor raro que nos costó adaptarnos. El personal muy atento y amable.
