Staff was pleasnt and very accommodating. It was easy to locate and convenient to the average traveler

Clean. BIG rooms. Close to downtown. $5 Lyft to restaurants/bars.

There was some exterior remodeling being done during our stay. Noise was not a problem at all. The view and location of hotel was nice. Rooms and stay for 3 days were comfy. Good price and friendly service. Will return again.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. Very close to Higuera street. The only complaint I have is getting in and out of the hotel can be a bit hard. Cars have to back up to let other cars thru. One customer was parked right in front of the hotel entrance and we had to wait til he was done registering his stay because we couldn't get thru

Didn't expect much - got what I expected :) If you are traveling through San Luis Obispo up or down the hwy 1 - this is an ok choice.

Place was cool, they had are crib waiting in the room already and it was right between pismo beach and morro bay,15 minutes either direction. Guy open the pool early and turned the pool heater on so my kids could play before we left in the morning. Would totally come back.

We unfortunately had to book a room in San Luis at the same time the college was having their move-in weekend. If we didn't want to pay over $400 a night, this was the best we could do. The place is fairly run-down and has poor lighting both in the rooms and in the parking lot. We were also "lucky" enough to have some bikers for neighbors. They were quiet while in their rooms, but liked to show off their noisy engines early in the morning. No need for an alarm that day. Good enough as an emergency place to say but I wouldn't go out of my way to use it as a base for a vacation.

the place is closed to town, clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly

We had a great visit to SLO inspite of the motel. The management was not friendly and could care less when we brought our concerns to them. They left the maid to respond to our issues, which she did very effectively. However, that's not her job. Our room was not cleaned two days in a row with a different excuse for each day.

No one should stay at this hotel. Cobwebs and dirty towels...wtf, I hope I didn't bring home any bed bugs.

the registering clerk took forever to come to the desk then was rude and made it obvious we were disturbing her activities in the adjoining room. Parking was a nightmare.

Bedsheets and bathroom were clean, so that's a good start. But the dresser/TV console and little table had been so over-shellacked it constantly felt sticky no matter how many times we wiped it off. And the rug looks like it hasn't been replaced or cleaned since it first went in decades ago. On the other hand, it's incredibly convenient: it's right on Monterey, so it's a straight shot down to the Mission and downtown. We were in town the first weekend after students returned to Cal Poly (which we didn't know about when we booked the trip) so this was only 1 of 2 hotels that would book a single weekend night. I don't think I'd use it as a "base" hotel for an extended trip to the Central Coast, but as a 1- or 2-night place, it would be okay.

Stayed the night here on my way from the Bay to LA down highway 1 and it was great, exactly what I payed for.

Good location with comfortable bed. Resturants nearby not far from Cal Poly. Good value for a cheap motel.

THE LOCATION WAS GREAT, EASY TO FIND TO & FROM 101 FWY AND TO SANTA MARGARITA FOR EVENT. AVERAGE, ORDINARY FOR THE PRICE... TOWELS COULD USE UPGRADE. TISSUE (BATH & FACIAL) VERY LIMITED, WE WERE FOUR ADULTS. TOILET TISSUE WAS 3/4 USED, ONE EXTRA ROLL ON HAND...FACIAL BOX OPENED 3/4 USED, NO EXTRA AVAILABLE. TOO FRUGUAL!!

Limited towels and amenities. Very good location and easy on the wallet. .............basic continental breakfast.

good location, it was a short drive to pismo beach and downtown. we stayed at couple of nights and we had a good time. i recommend this place

When we arrived our friend's room had the door and windows open as if the staff was trying to air it out. Unfortunately this wasn't working because the room smelled horrible and there was food left in the refrigerator. Our friend requested a room change, but was told the hotel was sold out and they would "give her a can of air freshener." The next morning our friend discovered her room had no shower curtain. Upon checkout we mentioned to the manager that we noticed at least three rooms that had not been used that our friend could have been moved in to. We also mentioned the missing shower curtain. Instead of an apology we were asked, "What would you like us to do? Your friend should have told us about the shower curtain."

This hotel was located close to the Cal Poly campus.

I just stayed one night. Staff was nice. Rooms pretty clean, but a little small. It was in a nice area
