A Motel 6 would be better than this place. Stained carpet, dirty bed spread, door handles falling off, lights not working, ceiling in bathroom has large crack from water damage, sink has rust, towels where more like sand paper. Looks like they are renovating some of the rooms. Maybe it will get better. But for over $100 a night, I would expect a lot better than this.
It's a very cheap hotel, so I didn't expect it to be fancy or anything - but the blanket on my bed was visibly dirty, the fridge in my room didn't work, the walkways were falling down - etc. You definitely get what you pay for. It was fine enough for a quick stay I guess - but don't expect much.
It was dirty it smelled fridge didn't work no microwave
The price compared to surrounding hotel/inns,,was the least expence but when we arrived at 2 to check in on our room I was told that my room wasn't ready for check in time at 3pm I was asked to call back to check to see if my room was ready I called back at 3 and was told that it wasn't ready yet to call back, so about 4:30 we heades back to the room
For the price of the room, the property is lacking. The fridge in the room is broke. And the room was stagnant.
We like the proximity to both Pismo Beach and Lake Lopez. We really like the ability to park our boat! Disappointed that the price recently went up more than 50%! Beds were comfortable; room was clean, but very spartan. No frills here. Worst experience was at check in. Only 1 clerk (Samantha was amazing and kept her cool while those waiting were getting very impatient). Please, please get more help during the busy check in times! Last month when we were here it took 40 minutes to check in. This time about 20.
It was overall a good experience, more people are needed at front desk thoo
Good for the price, staff very friendly but very old and in need of upgrading
I liked our room at the back of the property near the dog grass & poop bags. We had our 2 dogs so it was ver convenient & not crowded back there. There is no WiFi, we only had 1 towel each, 3 pillows and no coffee in the room, although hubs got some from the office which he said was “awful”. Panera bread was very close so that was ok. Overall for the really cheap price I paid, it wasn’t a bad experience. It was clean but no frills. Exactly what I expected.
The BAD: Bed bugs, dirty carpet, broken refrigerator, broken door to adjacent room. The GOOD: low cost and location
Very friendly staff rooms very clean would love to stay here again !!
First the shower didn't work. The room stated it was a non-smoking room. We had asked for a smoking room. When we said something to the employee they said that was an old sign. When we opened the door you could tell it was a smoking room. Employee was not helpful.
