We got this hotel recommended and had expectations that it would be a hotel with great service and international vibe. We are sad to share that the experience was the total opposite. Old school set up with rules about what you could eat and where even that the same kitchen serves the same food. No service at all by the pool, one person trying to serve 50 people while two persons stood still in the bar and the guests had to walk back with their own plates. We expected more from the food and beverage side considering the price of the room. And I mean - why wouldn’t they want to sell drinks and food? They could easily sell so much more things just giving service?! We also wonder why they don’t use there amazing setting better. DJ in the afternoon, create a more party vibe. Sure that their target group and audience would love that as much as we would!
Room was great, nice bed, amazing view. Nice restaurant. Good service at the front desk when they were there. We had three situations in 3 days where there were no one to find in the lobby at all that worked. Great staff around the hotel - always a smile and a polite question.
We hope to come back and to experience that the pool staff got sell and service training! But in general a great place!
