Hotel could use remodeling. Mildew smell all over hotel. Also mildew on bathroom ceiling.

My husband and I were on vacation and needed a room for the night. Nothing fancy: a clean bed, clean bathroom, a safe place. The bed was clean and the area, although a touch off the beaten track, seemed safe. However, the shower did not work. We were given keys to change rooms upon our notification to the front desk. When we went to the 2nd room, the shower did work, but the TV did not. We showered there but remained in our original room where the lights weren't all working, the bathroom sink had a continuous drip, and the luggage stand was broken. There was also a dead bee on the carpet. At least we didn't see any bed bugs!!!

This isn't the name of the Inn. It is a Quality Inn. We drove pass this place and didn't realize the name change. We were hoping to use the pool, as pictured, however, the water was drained and in construction. Very disappointing. We went to another hotel. Hope we weren't charged for this.

It is Q-uality Inn, not C-ountry as stated in O-rbitz. Rooms are old, furniture were old. A truckers motel. The night I was there have many work trucks / construction workers. Bathroom is old and towel - yellowish. Just a night to sleep - was heading to San Jose but the hotels there full due to a parade.

1. NOT pet friendly: When I checked in, I saw there's a $25 pet charge written on the board behind the counter, then I was gonna pay the $25 for my dog (20lb) so she can stay with us. But he told me that only "certain rooms" are pet allowed, the room I booked is not the pet-allowed room and I have to leave my dog in my car, otherwise, I'll get charged for a $100 fine. When I booked "pet friendly" hotel, I am expecting that I can take my dog into the room with me even they charge an extra fee for that. But this hotel is NOT really pet friendly. 2. Breakfast run out around 8am: The continental breakfast serving time is from 6:30 am ~ 9:30 am, we arrived at 7:50am and only coffee and bread left, all other hot food, fruits, muffins and juice are all out and when we ask for some refill, staff told us NO MORE food ??? But there's still 1+ hour till 9:30 am, and 80% of food are out at 8am, is this reasonable ???

Overall satisfied , old hotel but they keep the room clean and just walking distance from soccer field

The Country Inn was a clean, convenient, and friendly place for a quick overnight on our road trip.

This is a Quality Inn and not sure why the picture shows Country Inn. I have stayed in Quality Inn hotels. While nothing great, they have been OK for the price. But this hotel room was smelly and dirty, AC did not work and stains in towels and sheets. Thankfully it was only a night sleep.

Ill maintained dirty place, long overdue for a revamp. The rooms smells and the hallways stink. Staffed by a rude, indifferent “gentleman”. If you are unlucky, enough to have to use the place because it is just too cold to sleep in your car, it is probably winter, which is good because the AC hardly works in the place during summer. Pick a room upstairs otherwise; you will be listening to every footstep above you all night. (This builder wasn’t into sound insulation). If you’re into skiing, that’s good because there is “snow” on every TV channel. Moreover, don’t bother with the smoking / non-smoking, you may still have cigarette burns in your bedding!

Our stay had upsides and downsides. It started off bad, as we tried to find the hotel, the problem being the hotel is listed as County Inn, but it changed names years ago apparantly, and is now a Quality Inn. This made finding it a little harder in the dark, as we could not see the street address. The staff at the desk was friendly, and keys were waiting for us. When we got to our non-smoking room, and opened the door the smell of smoke was over powering to the point we could not walk in. We called to the front desk, and they said it was a non-smoking room, which then prompted us to ask why there were ash trays everywhere in a non-smoking room. After a pause, the desk worker offered to provide us with a can of air freshener. After telling them that was not going to work they had one last room available for the night, so they transferred us to a room, which was obvious by the floral aroma that a glade air freshener bomb had just gone off to mask the stale air in a rarely used room. The room was cleaned well and presentable I though the for the money. The only down side was it clearly needed some tlc as evidenced by the electrical switches and plugs that had nicotine stains running down the front, and the toilet seat that had the enamel peeling off the wooden seat. But at the end of a long day it had clean comfortable beds, and that was all I wanted. In the morning the complimentary breakfast was good, and they kept it well stocked. Another benefit was that there was plenty of area to park, and the spaces were very close to the hotel room. We didn't have time to use the pool, which turned out to be good as it looked mike it needed some cleaning. Overall it seemed overpriced for just a place to crash, but we had a long day, and it was just one night so I didn't care.

The interior was dingy, carpet stains, drab walls. The landing to the second floor had a torn up couch from one of the rooms shoved in the corner (cause they couldn't take it all the way outside?) There were only two of us staying the night and I requested a Queen bed, which I got. But we couldn't figure why the pull out couch was halfway pulled out with pillows on it, until we tried to put it away and found out it was broken. The sheets on the bed were clean but had lots of holes. The blanket was thin and had more holes than the sheets. There were no washcloths or hand towels in the bathroom only two bath towels. Breakfast was not bad and the location was great. Probably wont be staying there agin for the price.

It was not the cleanest room and the towels were poor quality however the staff was very kind and for one night it was a good place to stay

We worked the Gilroy Garlic fest. I picked this hotel because of the location to Gilroy and the price. The room was not very clean and the towels weren't a good size and thin. I was very disappointed when I went to our room and the door to the hotel had a garbage can that was overflowing. The housekeeper brought towels, didn't straighten the beds or even empty the garage cans, that was disappointing.

There was supposed to be a coffee maker in the room but there wasn't one. Instead of giving me a coffee maker, the attendant filled a pot of coffee for me to take up to the room. The walls were thin and we could hear every movement our neighbors made. We were running late and they were accommodating when I asked for extra time to check out.

Room was clean, enough towels, king size bed was firm and the pillows were new. The whole time I was checking in the clerk was having a conversation via his personal cell phone and of course speaking his native language what was not English.

I stayed overnight. My room was a smoking room that reeked with obviously peeled off no smoking sign from door. When I opened the sliding glass door to the balcony, the screen door fell off the track. The air conditioner and clock were unplugged. I had to move the armchair away from the a/c in order to plug the a/c in. When I did that, I bruised my thigh on the writing desk. The coffee pot did not work. When I pulled the coffee pot tray out to find the cord to plug in and troubleshoot why it wasn't working, I found a bloody used tuberculin syringe. I found a half gallon of milk and two Fuzee bottles in the refrigerator from a previous guest when I opened the regrigerator to put my dinner left-overs away. The breakfast area was very small with signs all over saying that guests were not to take breakfast foods to their rooms. Frankly, I couldn't wait to leave and I will never stay there again.

It was my fist time and I loved it. It was just enough and the staff was very courteous to me.

This hotel is situated along a street with other extended stay type hotels some of which I have stayed in. It shows OK from the outside and based on the Quality Inn branding and price I tried it out. Very disappointed. Check in OK and lobby area fine but hallways and corridors are dingy, some areas smell and the room while relatively clean is very basic. Not what I expect from Quality Inn. It will not kill you to stay here, and breakfast is reasonable.

I was able to check in to one of my rooms prior to 2:00 which worked out well because my husband is very sick and need to rest. Unfortunetly the other room I had was not ready when we got back to it at 7:00 pm in the evening.
