Should have know a $100 hotel near San Jose wouldn't be a good idea.

I travel often for work, sometimes I stay in 5 star resorts, sometimes in motels. This is one of the worst places I have ever stayed. There is an outdoor pool that has been condemned by the county of Santa Clara and there is a strong stench coming from the pool that I could smell from inside my room! When I woke up in the morning, there were three large spiders crawling around on the bedroom walls. I could not wait to get out of there.

Hotel was ok you get what you pay for, a low end room. Major disappointment was the pool was closed by the health department!

you get what you pay for; a cheap room. The bed was uncomfortable the pillows are too high and stiff so you're going to have a hard time sleeping. My room had a missing security dead bolt lock and in front of the room there are 3 appliances with only two sockets. if you needed an extra light you would have to unplug the tv or mini fridge in order to use the lamp. in other words, you're better off spending an extra $10 for a comfortable motel room across the street that feels luxurious compared to the rooms at this place.

not a dirty room, but furniture and finishes can definitely use an upgrade. Oh, and their clean towels had yellow stains....

Good motel for the value. Good stay. Coffee only at front desk in morning and often the small coffee brewer is empty. Cheap muffin is free too.

Located right off the freeway. Easy to get to, easy to head back out on the road. Room was clean and spacious. Bath mat stained and moldy. Breakfast very lean.

when I follow my GPS to get off FWY880, the TravelLodge was just right next to the FWY. It is very convenient to a Biz traveller. For everything else, don't expect too much. No expectation, no disappointment. you get what you paid for. It's just a place to sleep. One thing though, the blankt smells.... but I fell asleep within minutes, I guess at least the bed is still quite okay.

Got in late manager was stoned and didn't know what day it was so it took 20 min to find my reservation Kept telling me no reservation after she found it all was good whew

If you are a trucker passing through or a blue collar worker that needs a cheap place to stay for a few days while you work during the day, this is for you. If you are visiting for a week on pleasure, you might want to spend a few bucks more on a nicer looking place. Pros: comfortable bed, coffee maker, excellent internet service, easy access, good parking, convenient stores nearby. Cons: clean but stained carpets and towels, no airport shuttle, no real breakfast, usual noisy AC, terrible shower.

The price is reasonable. The room is quite clean and the área is safe.

We drove 6 hours to get to this location only to arrive to a bad start. The hotel was run down looking and so was the area (across the parking lot was a boarded up, barb wired fenced off Dennys). We were told by the hotel manager we needed to pay more even though my card was already charged for the room. Next, after the manager, YES MANAGER was arguing with us about prices we finally go to our room. We did get a smoking room which smells are expected. THIS WAS SO INCREDIBLY horrid smelling/looking and I was mortified. Our room had multiple holes in the carpet, stains on the chairs, stains on the phone, stains on the bed, lamp was broken, bathroom door wouldnt close, rusted trash can, screen on window was ripped, mold EVERYWHERE, and a pen cap jammed into the ceiling. [...] We went to the hotel manager yet again asking to at least switch rooms where he argued, NO JOKE argued yet again with us about getting a refund and when we threatened to leave he agreed to switch us rooms. We start to walk to our room when he runs after us and yells "No wait, not that room I already booked it I forgot." We got changed again to yet another room.We open the door and the smell was not as bad but there were a lot of stains everywhere and our shower was so dirty it was permanently stained and crispy feeling. It had no drill out for the door locks on the door, when we went to leave the door simply opened right back up and DID NOT LOCK. We yet again went to the incredibly rude manager who said it was OUR FAULT for the door not locking. He stated it was the way we opened the door and thats what caused it to not properly lock. This happened TWO TIMES on our trip.I have stayed in rooms that were pretty bad, one time I stayed in a hotel room with a roach. This was BY FAR the WORST hotel I have EVER stayed at. Im completely enraged about what we went through and how much we paid for what we got. I was about two minutes away from taking my credit card and just taking the loss (since he completely refused to give me any money back) and stayed somewhere else. You could not pay me to stay in this hotel, or any other Travellodge for that matter. The manager was incredibly rude, did not work with us and I over paid for the filth we stayed in.

This hotel was close to all point of interst for me. While in the San Jose area I visited Big Bason Redwood Forest, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and had a peacefull drive on the San Jose hills.

The rooms were flithy and service was not polite at all. They didn't even re-stock soap the next day!!! Broken hair dryer, with no surge protector, in a small bathroom could cause a fire! For the money it was a horrible room and bathroom was really bad...I would not stay here, I'd rather try the Days Inn across the street.

We didn't expect too much and was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and the location was great with many shops and restaurants close by. Free WiFi worked great too.

I was treated very well by the staff. The location to dining was good. In addition, it was close to the large mall and plaza's for shopping. I would definitely stay at this motel again on my next trip.

The room is reasonable consider the rate is inexpensive. The location is central and has easy access to freeway. Nearby mall has many restaurants including American and Asian styles.

Due to flight delay we arrived the hotel at 3:30a.m. Staff of the hotel cares of our reservation and put a not especially for us to check in. It is really considerate!
