I booked through Orbitz, my reservation notice came with a note that I had a late check in up to midnight. When I got to the hotel at 10:15 pm they had given my room away because I was late. While the girl tried to find another place she had obviously never encountered this before and was completely unsure of what to do. Then she left and no one was there to help. Through Orbitz customer service I finally got a hotel room 40 miles away. This review requires I submit a rating on the room and room comfort -- the entryway where I was was fine.

Very terrible room condition. Dust on the table, you can use your fingered write on it even! Strong smell in the room and elevator. The room I got was just finished renovation. I cannot understand why the hotel feel okay to open the room to check guests in. The truth is that the room next door still under renovation, workers were plainting the wall. Can you imagin sleep with windows widely open just to get fresh air into the room? When I checked in, I found bin filled with trash. Obviously, room service staff forget to clean the trash bin. What's more, it tooks me more than 30 mins to check in and check out added up. A normal time cost should be no more than 15mins.

The appearance of dirt and debris on the floor of the hotel when we walked in was not attractive. And it only got worse as we got to our room. The room was okay, but the fixtures in the bathroom needed some TLC. The sink stopper was broke, as well as the drain stopper in the tub. There is no way the cleaning staff could possibly have overlooked that, unless the room didn't get thoroughly cleaned to begin with. There was nobody present at the desk when we left on the morning of 1 March. I left the keys on the desk, yelled back behind the desk, but the lights were off and no response. Didn't look as if the hallways had been cleaned in several days. Needed vacuuming and some light fixtures, especially the fire exit signage, needs addressed.

Called them to confirm my reservation and they confirmed with me. I even callled againm an hour before arriving hotel, to notify I was going to make a late check in, and they even confirmed that. Arrived 3 in the morning and when I went in to check in with the receptionist, she said all rooms were taken. I even told her that she confirmed with me one hour before, and she said she was not able to do anything. So I left and found another hotel like 20 minutes away from there. Days later I called Orbits to get a refund, they answered me by saying that I stood in the hotel that night. That hotel confirmed with them. And of course I fought back so they called the hotel twice until I got my money back.

Extended Stay America is a good for the basics hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy. The noise levels were high throughout the night. Staff was efficient and friendly.

The hotel is near everything I needed. Val and Judy were wonderful hosts.

The Edenvale extended stay america hotels are both first picks for me when it comes to booking hotel rooms. Even though the south building is newly renovated and a bit bigger and spacious I still book here at the north location which is usually a little cheaper pricing. Overall both are usually available and in a good price range. Hotel rooms are always clean and any needs are well met here by the staff. Overall it's a good choice ... No surprise deposits or price changing when checking in which I usually get from most other hotels .

Good location near major freeways, restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, gas stations, has a pool and fitness center. Staff is always available and helpful. You can have your mail delivers to the hotel of your a longer term stay. Kitchen in rooms is convenient. Also comfortable beds an clean. Overall satisfactory stay.

Price was right and location was close to our house as we had to be out of it for a night. Was a lot nicer on the outside that on the inside. Got a room with a full size refrigerator and had to unplug it because it was so loud. The room was a little tired and old. But clean and quiet.

Staying at this hotel is always like staying at home for me. With full kitchens you are able to prepare home cooked meals to save that little but of extra money. And if you aren't on a right budget there is plenty of shopping and restaurants just across the street in walking distance. Plenty of guest pArking and activities to do nearby. Even kicking back in the comfortable spacious rooms with premium channels and flat screen TVs. Service is always great and the low prices here make it my first choice when looking for hotels in this area.

It is ok the staff could be better and I did have a room that was not cleaned properly so they gave me a different one. A friend of mine dropped off some Christmas presents and his front tires were slashed while he was here.

I am currently looking for a new home or apartment so when I can't crash at friends and family's houses I stay here at Extended Stay Edenvale North. Sometimes just for a night and other times for a couple weeks straight. The rooms are always very clean and anything needed in the room is always promptly delivered by the staff. Your room comes equipped with all cooking necessities like pots, pans, silverware, plates, cups and bowls. This is great because sometimes it makes your stay feel a little more at home, staying in and eating a home cooked meal... Also saves money! Overall this is a great short term or long term stay with tons of close shops, restaurants, shopping as well as many Things here at the hotel to do as well !

My stay at extended stay America san jose 95119 was very good and I can highly recommend it .

Couldn't take a shower. The shower was not working.

I was not pleased with this hotel. Even though the staff member who checked us in was friendly, I wasn't impressed with the overall hotel cleanliness and amenities. Shampoo was not included in our room. Even though our room was non-smoking, the smoke of cigarettes was in the elevator and in the hallways. The only good thing I like about the room was that we had a kitchenette so I think this would be beneficial for someone who is staying for more than one night.

Great experience. Would book here again. Close to food and entertainment.

I have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions and I have only had one bad experience. That involved a mix up with my online check in. Beyond that I would definitely refer this place to a friend or family member. Overall it was very comfortable...

This was an adequate experience. The only thing I didn't like was the extra $100.00 deposit required at check in. I have never had a hotel ask for this before.

The room had everything for a traveler. Kitchen, fridge, microwave, comfy bed. I'd definitely stay here again in the near future.
