The hotel claimed they validated my parking but ended up charging me $22 for one night! This is not acceptable!

I was disappointed in the condition of the hotel. We paid a fair amount of money and I expected more. When we left our room, the elevator button to go down didn't work, so we had to carry our suitcases downstairs because we didn't want to wait for the elevator to randomly show up. Plus, the parking cost $22 and I thought that was nuts. It was frustrating when I inserted the parking ticket, it wasn't accepted so I had to find someone to help! My advice...go somewhere else!

It's difficult to pick a hotel in a safe area without ever being in that city. I was pleased when I arrived. It's location worked for us to visit relatives in Santa Clara and San Francisco. San Jose airport is the way to go. FYI: $22 a night to park at the hotel- I'm always a little sore with that added price when it's not disclosed (or maybe I didn't see the fine print).

If you don't have your car valeted your going to do some walking it was hard to figure out the parking

The location was ideal and we love DoubleTree, but my husband and I got a racist vibe from the staff at check-in which was very off putting. In the room we noticed the handles in the tub and the sink were falling off. Otherwise good hotel.

Great experience outstanding customer service I definitely will recommend it!!

This DoubleTree has been one of the best Hilton's that I have stayed on for business. Ultra thoughtful, when I had a last days hospice situation in the family the DoubleTree went out of their way to help in so many ways. They helped me though a rough time waiting to get a flight home early, a good meal, and made all efforts to show me that DoubleTree cared and appreciated its guests. Aces with me!!

I rented the room for my sister, 50th bday, she never showed up. So I used the room:) breakfast, was great staff was even bettet!

I stayed in this hotel the first time I ever went to San Jose in 2000. While the hotel is in good shape, it looks exactly the same in 2014. The rates are not cheap and the hotel sells out because of its location, so there's not much incentive to update the decor. I don't think I would stay here again.

The staff at the San Jose Double Tree was exceptional. Dedicated to details.

Got in to San Jose without a plan so this was a spontaneous booking... This was one of the cheaper rates that came up and I booked it based on price which can be a nightmare. The hotel is fairly large and that property itself is basically resort style by an airport. You can tell it has been there a while, not a dated feel but a lived in look. Everything was clean and the room wAs huge with a balcony. I was impressed to say the least. Would definitely stay there again.

We Stayed here for an event at the SAP Center, its close to close enough to the hotel that a cab fare is only about $18.00 each way. Rooms were clean, Bed was really comfortable, Staff was accommodating. They don't have a refrigerator which sometimes comes in handy.

The staff was friendly and helpful, but check the actual hotel website before booking as we were not aware of a $19/day parking charge until we checked out. But they graciously took it off our bill. But knowing this in advance would have made the difference as to where we would have stayed.

Travelled as part of a three day conference and found the facilities to be perfect for our needs. The break out rooms had padded chairs--a great benefit when lots of meeting are involved. The staff did a quick turn around on the last day in the large hall, resetting meal table to conference tables and providing two super-large wall-sized projection units. Although I ended up sitting in a large cool draft in one breakout room the first day, I was more attentive to the A/C after that with no other issues to report. Conference lunches were high quality, coffee breaks and sponsored snacks likewise. We even had a live-band in an evening reception. Everything was high quality and seamless in terms of facility use.

Failed to mention that it's $20 a night for parking on website or over the phone Really bad service over all. I ended up leaving.

We stayed in the hotel due to a weekend soccer tournament nearby. The hotel had a great array of restaurants in the lobby. There was an issue with the pool on Saturday, and it was closed most of the day. This was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel. However, the pool was re-opened on Sunday morning and the staff were very gracious in making amends with complimentary parking, as well as passing out free ice cream and popsicle treats to everyone at the pool on Sunday. The customer service alone would bring me back to this hotel!

Great room and in a perfect location. Friendly staff and a very clean hotel. I didn't like how you have to pay for parking when your a overnight guest.

Unexpected fee for self parking my car. Should be disclosed at time of booking. Pleasant room but not as clean as I would have liked. Average. Good shared facilities, ie.,pool.

we only had one day layover was perfect free shuttle to airport! Lounge bar had great service and good food

We had to drive to Sonoma and decided to stay in San Jose on the way back to LAX. We loved it and my son didn't want to leave. The room was very clean and quiet. Had a wonderful Stay.
