I was a little taken back by the exterior of the building and the condition of the hallways and the room Just older and well used hotel

When we arrived the front Portico was temporarily supported and police taped off . Nothing done to it during our stay. There was no hot water to our room and when I told the front desk we were pretty much ignored with no feed back provided.

Very close to the Sap Center and places to eat and drink.

Do not recommend this hotel, inside remodel going on, hallways are dirty, paint vapors, room ok but all else made room not worth it. Also construction going on next door.

The location of this hotel is great. It's just a few minutes to the Cal Train and there is a Whole Foods just down the street.

Price of the rooms are a bit high for what you get. Although the furniture, fixtures, etc. have been updated, you can tell the hotel is very old. This hotel is good for a night or two stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for longer. Had read some reviews prior to traveling, so didn't have too high of expectations. The complimentary breakfast was good; better than in some other hotels I've stayed.

we were expecting a nice 3 star hotel for the price- it was not. it was a 1 star.

The check-in process was easy. The room was OK. Good size, had a 2 person Jacuzzi in the bathroom, but definitely older and needing some "sprucing up". Hallways were dingy, no baseboards, no covers on outlets, carpet was horrible, I checked in after 5 and the maintenance crew was still cleaning, sound isolation is not very good so for another hour or so all I heard was vacuums running. Lobby was probably remodeled in the 80s or 90s, mirrors like a casino, white oak everywhere. The price was OK, but I have stayed in better. Bad, but not really good either.

Took 10 min Uber to hotel (no available shuttle provided by hotel), and Uber was approx $7 for 2. Hotel is currently in remodeling stages in common areas but didn't interrupt our stay. Room was very clean & picture provided by website is accurate. Staff provided excellent service. Free standard breakfast was provided with a lot of options. For the price and walking distance of approx 1/4 mile to the SAP and Whole Foods Market was nice. Felt safe at & near the hotel. If you are simply staying 1-2 nights for an event at the SAP, I would highly recommend the hotel for the price & location.

Quiet room good location Whole Foods nearby

Hotel is clean and ok, it's located a block away from SAP center.

I stayed for business, attending a convention nearby. The hotel needs a refresh, especially the bathtub/shower. It was okay. TV was small. No channel guide, movie rentals, etc. The wifi was hit or miss, mostly miss, which affected getting any work done in my room. Postives - Great staff, great breakfast. Convenient location. It was a quick Uber ride over to the convention center.

Awesome hotel, jacuzzi tubs and convenient location

Over all it was great stayed for a concerts at the SAP center perfect walking distance. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Jacuzzi tub extra bonus. The lobby and hall ways are clean and inviting. The breakfast was good not your typical waffle and muffin situation. Offered many options from biscuits and gravy, French toast, pancakes, eggs the works! Dining room again spacious and clean. I would stay here again.

This is a great place to stay for events at the SAP Center. Short walking distance. Good breakfast and nice, clean rooms.

Very clean and spacious room and bathroom with jacousi, wide variety of complimentary toiletries, convenient parking. Only con is that they don't have a fitness room.

Staff was amazing! My daughter and my niece were thrilled about the jacuzzi tub in the room. Breakfast was great. Hotel is older but they have keep it in nice conditions. Great stay.

Location is prime Friendly staff Rooms are nice but nothing special Fits the need to stay in San Jose having access to the downtown area

The Hotel was recently renovated and upgraded and this is a definite plus. The bed was nice & seemed new with no slumps or valleys in the mattress that you would see in older beds. The rooms all seem to have a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and whirlpool in the tub where all the jets worked great...the morning breakfast was actually very good...the eggs tasted real, bacon one morning, sausage another, breakfast potatoes were ok, toast, muffins, 4 choices for dry cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, tea & milk...believe me this tasted better than many hotels offer at breakfast, so good that you may want to spend a little time in their room (could be a ball room) to enjoy your meal, rather than me who is always on a hit & run...I will plan better next time...I would definitely stay here again...BTW there is a Whole Foods Market that is to the left of the hotel and a CVS Pharmacy is to the right...that has nothing to do with the hotel, but it is a huge bonus...

Seemed fine on arrival. Check in went fine. The rooms and overall hotel are neglected though. Everything is so out of date and depressing, which you find out after a few minutes in your room.
