very nice people, great room, comfortable, close to parks. overall very satisfied!

Fenil was wonderful help. He made a very stressful situation a lot more bearable and made this place feel more like home.

The location is very good and it is close to everything. Will stay again. However, the rate is a little pricey for a one star hotel

Great location, personable and helpful staff room was large with flat screen TV, fridge, desk, etc.

If this is America's best value, we are in trouble. From the towel that was being used as a window shade (to cover the mangled set of blinds) to the bathroom blinds that were busted and filthy, this hotel is a disaster. The late night check in window is something out of a movie where the clerk is behind bullet proof glass. Add to that a room that was literally 8 feet from a major roadway and you can imagine how much sleep I got. Go elsewhere, even considering the price.

Every thing is just like advertised and no hiding fee. Nice staff there and they gave us the room as we chose. At the price paid we are satisfied.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights, The room was very ordinary and nothing great to tell about. However, its a great location. Pros: 1. Great location. Cons: 1.The equipment is old. They still have the old Tube TV's. 2.Some plug points does not work . 3. The carpet has lot of stains.

This hotel was overpriced for a non-smoking room that smelled of smoke. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable and it meet my sleeping requirements. I was in town for business, so it was central for my needs. The front desk owner was friendly and helpful. The other two hotels were $30 less/night and equal in size and amenities. Non-smoking should mean non-smoking! I would only recommend this room is you aren't interested in spending time in your room or if you are looking for bare bones.

Room was clean and comfortable. However, the light over the sink went out the first night. I reported it the next morning and the desk person told me the "handy man" would look at it. When I returned late that evening it was still non functional, in addition one of the bed side lamps quit working, it was never fixed. On the third day the light over the sink was finally repaired. It was not a fun time without proper lighting. All in all it was a disappointing visit and I most likely will not stay ther again.

Needs to show professionality. The owner lives there

Messed up my reservation charged me extra when I got there. We found an unflushed toilet. the room smelled. not enough towels.

We had a good four nights stay at this hotel this time, although there were some noisy weekend guests below us one of the nights. The room was comfortable, and being upstairs, we were able to sleep with the bathroom window wide open at night which contributed to our comfort as I cannot sleep well when the air conditioner is on. Breakfast, as it is just juice and coffee and a prepackaged sweet roll, could be greatly improved by provision of freshly baked rolls purchased even at the local Safeway. The staff is unobtrusive and courteous.

To begin with.... I'm very leary about going to hotels/motels. But I was pleasantly surprised when my husband and I got our room. For the 'price' I felt we really got our money's worth and then some. The room we had was modern up-to-date and clean looking. The bed and pillows were very comfortable with crisp white sheets. Plenty of lights. The only thing kinda weird was that the sink counter was by the door and outside of the bathroom. Room also came with a continental breakfast in the lobby. We would definitely look for other 'America' Best Value Inns' when traveling.....

This motel is clean and the staff is friendly and very helpful. I must say that the bed is one of the most comfortable I have ever had in any hotel, and I travel a lot. There are several fast food places within a 5 minute walk, and the Italian Restaurant directly across the street is outstanding (darn, I can't remember the name). If you find youself in Mountain View give this place a try, I don't thing you will be disappointed. Oh, it is located just a short distance from downtown Mt. View, you could nearly walk there is you feel up to it.

I stayed for 1 night and while the outside looks a little grungy the inside is beautiful! it was clean, comfortable and quite. I had a fridge and microwave. For mountain view this hotel was the best I have stayed in.

Close to downtown Mountain View (Castro St.) hotel was about as basic as it gets. Friendly staff, very clean throughout and bed was comfy, although the floor was squeaky in spots (2nd floor). Hotel has free wi-fi (no wired ports) but speed was slow at times. The included breakfast was nothing more than coffee, juice & a packaged mystery danish looking thing that I didn't try, although there was a working fridge & microwave in the room. For the price & location, not a bad deal.

Overall it is a good stay. THe first night I was assigned a room facing the street. It was quite noisy and I had hard time falling to sleep. I changed to another room facing a different direction and it is much quieter.

We mainly needed somewhere to sleep while we were there with a family member having surgery at the nearby hospital. The beds were very comfortable. The room and bathroom looked like they were recently redecorated. Instead of small bottles of shampoo, etc, they had refillable dispensers with soap, lotion, shampoo, and shower gel. It actually worked out well. There are a lot of places to eat close by. It was convenient to walk next door to the Taco Bell.

Ok for the price. There was no breakfast. Can hear the traffic at El Camino

overall the stay is ok. my room is clean and quiet. the staff is friendly. the most disappointing thing for me is that there is no internet connection from the room.
