Internet didn’t work in my room. Hotel did not have dry cleaning service. Not great for a business traveler.

I like that it is an historic building in the middle of the city. The staff smiled endlessly and was extremely helpful and accommodating. The hall was clean but depressing. Bland, poorly coordinated, colors. Mixed textures. Low ceilings. Blah lighting. King size bed in a small room made everything feel cramped. I recognize the black marble with bright flecks on the chest of drawers and the generic marble in the bath are the same I see in discount marble warehouses. No sense of a good overall design sensibility. The continental breakfast featured scrambled eggs, sausage, and hash browns along with over the hill orange juice, strange looking bagels, and barely tolerable coffee. (No decaf available.)

Pleasant hotel
Hotel was very clean. The amenities were nice. The bed was very comfortable. Very close to a variety of restaurants.
