THe price is reasonable and it’s close to all the tourists spots in the city. Overall it’s clean and well kept. The only issue we had are walls and ceiling are thin. You can hear your neighbor’s every move and muffled conversations. If possible request a 2nd story room. There is a $20 parking charge, this is the norm in San Francisco, other hotel charge $60 for parking.

If you are on a budget this is a well run hotel to stay in.

Pleasant hotel within 5-8 blocks of Ghirardelli Square and Fisherman's Wharf. Excellent service from hotel staff; easy to call cab or uber for farther destinations in the city. Room comfortable and wifi was fine while we were there. Staff gave restaurant recommendations and anything else we asked. Would love to stay here again.

The room was big but smelled funny, close to the water

A couple notable things: - Our SUV had a roof rack and was able to fit in the main parking lot, but not in the under-building parking from where our room was assessable. Was kind of strange to have to go down to the other parking lot to get to our room. - Not sure how well our room was cleaned.. found a soup in the fridge and a grape on the ground in the bathroom. The beds seemed clean at the very least. - Breakfast was the usual yogurt, cereal, toast, juice, etc. - Our room was right over the top of the restaurant/bar? and there were a few loud outbursts in the night, but it didn't bother me too much. - Our standard two bed room was quite spacious and also had two bathrooms. It was a surprise to have two bathrooms, but it came in handy with our family of 6. Overall, it was a good price compared to what else I found available in the area and would possibly stay there again.

had a awful night there, sleep was impossible, adjoining room was occupied by family without any concern for others. Street noise was more than expected. We made the wrong choice booking this hotel.

Fabulous staff. Check in process was easy and welcoming. Plenty of parking in a congested area. Room was spotless and clean and comfortable!

Staff were nice, rooms were clean and had all the amenities we could need.

good value and location. walking distance to everything

Arrived from airport late. Front desk said no places open that late for dinner. Walked out the door and great steak restaurant to the right and bar to the left. Steak place has kitchen open until 11pm. Next day when I mentioned this the receptionist said they didn't refer there as it was too expensive. We thought the prices were fair and the food was fantastic. We had a night cap at the bar next door. Walking distance to everything. Breakfast was fine.

This was an over night stay, we were making our way back home to San Bernardino from a family reunion in crescent city. The gentleman that was checking us in was wonderful because at the time I was in the lobby it was full and many did not have confirmation # or other problems. He handled it very well. As for our room it was very spacious for one king bed and so comfy too. Very clean I will definitely stay again when I'm in town.

Comfy. Good shower pressure. Fridge a must. Little mart around the corner. 10 min walk to warf. Made for a nice vacation on a young couple budget.

Great starting point for walking to Coit Tower and Fisherman's Warf.

For a last minute place to stay at it was ok. I would give it a 3 star rating. nothing fancy but the rooms were clean. parking lot sucks if you get there late like we did but we managed. 2 bars right next door was a plus.

Very budget friendly hotel with a very nice location...

While this hotel is located pretty close to pier 39 and such, that's about the only great thing there is. Although the staff was good, they alone couldn't over come the issues with the hotel itself. There was a room above us, and since the hotel is super old and possibly had wooden floor beams, I could hear every step that anyone took, and it's not like a small creak, it was pretty loud. People honking their horns ourtsideevery few minutes also sucked.

The room was large but there is restaurant next door and room window is facing terrace where people eat and talk, not the best view and can be noisy in the evening. Also there is other noise from the restaurant, try to avoid rooms 101-104. Parking is $17 per day extra which is normal by SF standards but too much when added to the room price. Breakfast is ok. Location is great, enjoyed walking to Maritime park and Fishermans Wharf, stunning views from Aquatic park pier. Nice dining options on Chestnut street.

This is a great location for exploring San Fran on foot. Please be aware that parking is $17 a day but is far more reasonable than surrounding lots.

First of all, room was huge. Secondly, we were located in the back so we didn't hear road traffic. We also asked for a fridge & microwave and they were provided to us immediately. The breakfast was delicious. It was continental. It was sufficient for us. The staff were very polite and helpful. The only complaint would be the price. It was a great place but a little expensive for a motel.

Had a good experience at this hotel.Lot's of walking everywhere and at the end of the day it would be nice if this and other hotels in the area had a hot tub to soak your aching muscles.
