Friendly, courteous and kind staff. Prompt check-in process and super clean lobby. Unfortunately, the rest of the motel is old and really showing its age. The carpet is really old and dirty in appearance. The TV was really hard to figure out to use, the Wi-Fi did not really work as we could not connect to it and the phone in the room did not work either -- talking to motel staff required walking downstairs to go into the office to ask questions or make requests. Also, the ice machine did not work and was locked. The mattresses must be really old too because they were uncomfortable and "lumpy." I saw that it was rated 2 stars on the internet but I would rate it half a star only. Too bad as the motel staff are really nice people.

Good location...fair accommodations. Affordable. Not the most posh place in the world and there is a lot of outside noise from Lombard. But if all you need is a room to lay your head at night, then this will fir the bill. The bathroom was clean and that's always a plus.

Staff was rude at check in. I sent my teenage son to ask for towels and he was told Housekeeping was gone for the day and what we had would have to last until morning. The garbage in the room from the prior guest was still in the bathroom. The floors were not vacuumed or moped. The white bathroom door was filthy and sticky. The WiFi didn’t work. I chose this place for the location and free parking. But at check in I was told parking was first come first served and not guaranteed for guests as I thought it would be since “free parking” was advertised on Orbitz. So when we left for dinner and came back to find zero parking left my husband went in to ask where he could park where we wouldn’t experience any damage, break-ins, or huge fees to park. The sarcasm and snotty “As I told your wife when she checked in that parking was guaranteed” from the desk clerk was beyond rude. Needless to say, my husband walked out in complete anger and without any guidance on where to park. A little courtesy and acknowledgement of the situation and the question that was asked of the desk clerk is what I would’ve expected. We don’t recommend this place ever, not even for one night like our reservations!

This is a motel with a clean and full equiped room. The parking its easy and sometimes it could be crowded but there are a lot of parking spots near it. The only problem was that wifi was terrible. The area is great!!!

Terrible experience. Avoid as much as possible. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location in San Francisco. Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance and a short bus ride to Fisherman's Wharf. The motel is comfortable. If you are looking for an affordable motel, the Travel Inn is your place. The owners are very accommodating and a great help in planning your excursions around San Francisco.

When we told the concierge about having an early check in and explained that we came from an early flight from the east coast, and that we're very tired, he had us check in to make sure that we're comfortable, that is what you call "customer service". After that, everything was really good, the room smelled nice and clean. I actually told my sister and her husband to get a room in Travel Inn, as they were miserable in Super 8. Unfortunately, Travel Inn was fully booked, so they had to stay where they were. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a good hotel without paying so much.
