The staff was wonderful and the room was nice, but the guest house was remote from the hotel, there was no minibar and the in room safe did not work. Nice bathroom and comfortable bed

The property is huge. We were placed in one of the cottages far from the main building. When we checked in, we noticed that the front desk staff would come out from the behind the counter to hand the keys and property map to their guests. The moms were given roses as it was mothers day when we went. However, we were not given the same courtesy. It left a sour note for us.
Perfect is the word!!! The hotel takes care of your every small need, is very hospitable and they like to show they they're actually happy that you are staying with them. They trully won my and my family's heart forever, can't wait for my next stay there!!!
The hotel is in a beautiful place, but it is the service that was most spectacular. The staff actually got to know us in only 2 days.
We love this hotel and have stayed twice. They have done nice updates in the last two years. The food is amazing, but be aware options are pricey, but if they have the broccoli and cauliflower in the Conservatory, don't miss it! We were a little disappointed that we did not receive our welcome bags from the wedding we were attending upon arrival and were not notified of some flowers delivered to us as well. Other than that, however, the service was wonderful. We love Maria in the Navio dining room for breakfast. The room was simply beautiful overlooking the golf course and ocean. We recommend the hotel!
We were treated tremendously well. We arrived and were upgraded to a room with an outdoor fire pit overlooking the 18th green. Great way to celebrate my wife's birthday
Food was great abeit a bit expensive. Rental bikes and spa services are a plus.
The jaw dropping beauty of the seaside setting of this magnificent hotel is unparalleled, perhaps in the world. I was a solitary business traveler for this stay, but I observed apparently ecstatically happy romantic couples as well as business travelers and even extended families. There are seaside strolls of any length to and from the hotel. Apparently it is customary, at least in the later afternoon/early evening to meet those checking in with a glass of wine, in my case quite a delicious zin. I thankfully received a complimentary upgrade to an ocean view room, and the view was so spectacular that I almost did not leave my room to dine. This hotel prides itself on service and as a seasoned traveler, I found the service, from valet to check out, absolutely 5 star. Travelers should know that the casual dining room of the two hotel restaurants apparently attracts a lot of loud talking bar patrons, or it did the weeknight evening I was there, which detracted a bit from my dinner experience at a table facing the spectacular view (the food was good and the service was excellent, but there was way too much time between the salad and main course). Next time, I will spend a little more to eat at their somewhat more elegant restaurant. Overall, this is a dreamy hotel, which I would guess would be the perfect wedding or honeymoon destination. I would love, love, love to come back, try the spa, and have my husband play golf!
We stayed there for 2 nights and we thought it wasn't enough! The view was unbeatable, and the staff was highly friendly! We didn't try any food service there, but we assume it was good as the smell was attractive. Recommended!
We arrived noonish on a Tuesday and got upgraded to one of their best rooms in the guest house. Although it wasn't part of the main hotel it was an end unit with lots of privacy. It was a wonderful getaway!
