Honestly, it was... fine. I’ll admit that there was nothing to complain about but it just wasn’t a “wow” or “ yaaas” experience. Either pay more and stay at the St Regis if you want a 5-star hotel or pay half and stay at almost anywhere and you’ll get what you pay for. The restaurant’s tasting menu truly restores faith in the Michelin guide (unless you’re wedded to your idea that your neighborhood Indian takeout is the best Indian).
