I like the cleanliness, but I didn't like the noise from the people outside the hotel all night.

I liked this place, although the rooms were very tiny. The elevator was so smooth you didn't even know it moved. Very nice little bar in the lobby. The down side is the neighbor hood is dirty and loud.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable, rooms are very small and no place for your luggage, but the price of the room for the quality you get more than makes up for that. The location is great too, relatively safe street bordering the TL, but still close to the train and walking distance to Hayes Valley and Union Square, just avoid walking through the Tenderloin if you walk downtown.

Clerk at check in desk booked my room to another person 30 minutes after I checked in. Guest walked in on me while I was changing clothes. Called clerk who admitted he had mixed up the names and accidentally gave the other man a copy of my door key. Also, there is a billing dispute as I checked out early. Rather than communicating with me, manager places me on lengthy holds and disconnects. In process of disputing with bank.

Nice hotel in a rough neighborhood. Not a big deal, but something to consider. Close to good restaurants and music venues, which is why we picked it. Staff was helpful, room was nice, if a bit small. But a good deal for the price. Nespresso machine was great.

The room was clean and had the necessary amenities. Great decor and style, and the staff was very nice and friendly. The bummer is that the hotel is located in the Tenderloin, so you’re going to hear a lot of noise from the street. The hotel can’t regulate or be responsible for that, they’re doing the best they can with a rough neighborhood. Two doors down from Brenda’s Southern Kitchen totally makes up for it, though!

Nice hotel, easy check in, online system to request late check out, fast bag storage. Just one problem; internet .. 1 to 2 Mb speed

This is a very trendy little hotel with ultra-modern tech in all the rooms. Really nice touches such as complimentary bottled water and in-room snack included with other neccessities. The Nespresso Machine in the lobby is fun to see and use. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only down side is it's location in the Tenderloin, but that also makes it close to key entertainment venues and City Offices. They recently opened a very nice lounge next door. Valet parking available too.

Tenderloin is a sketchy neighborhood with lots of homeless, both safe and unsavory. Not safe to walk alone at night. Nice facility in a neighborhood in transition. Wonderful, friendly service. Shower floor very slippery; accident warning to happen. Brenda's Soul Food nearby for breakfast was a great suggestion. Need more food options. Bar downstairs is fun. Hotel has good potential.

The hotel has new, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I’m not sure if it was just a promotion, but they also gave us a drink voucher to the bar next door when we checked in. I will be staying here again.

The hotel was very nice; the neighborhood no so good, a lot of homeless people, at nigh a lot of noise, ambulance, police, screamings, voices, etc, during my stay I couldn't sleep well.

This is a clean simple hotel. No bells and whistles but good for a quick stay. Room was small but nice, bed was very comfortable, and the Nespresso machine was a nice touch. The neighborhood isn’t the nicest, but I didn’t have any problems.

It was very very very small and modern yet classic in taste just too small for the price.

The hotel is in a rough neighborhood (Tenderloin), HOWEVER, the inside was tastefully fine, European, colorful, and the staff was always pleasant and friendly. I did see a small roach on the last night of our stay, a small one, and I’m deathly afraid of those things. It’s San Fran and I’m sure it could have happened anywhere else in San Fran due to overpopulation. Otherwise, no concerns and I would consider staying there again.

Excellent value! Very clean and comfortable queen ‘suite’ which I got for a $20 upon arrival upgrade to the twin room I booked online for justunder $200. Free bottled water, comfortable bed, robes in the bathroom, microwave and mini fridge with free coffee and almonds in the room as well. The neighborhood is sketchy- but the staff is awesome and I would return.

The room with 1 queen bed runs small but good for 2 max. Overall the experience was great!

Rude hotel staff. Beware for a man named mike. He clearly hates his job and will threaten to cancel your reservation if he’s having a bad day.

Pretty decent value for the price. An older hotel or building that's had some renovations done. Walls are paper thin, the couple in the room next to us was getting busy morning and night. Also, ask for a room that does NOT face the street. Polk street is relatively busy and the street noise/activity is quite loud.

I knew the hotel room was going to he small but it really was tiny! It had one really small window that face the wall of the next building. The area was not good. A bunch of motels in the immediate area and odd people ( besides the homeless) hanging outside in the streets. Google told us to get off Civic Center station on the Bart, we saw human feces walking over to the hotel and I think we walked through the concentrated area of homeless people. The hotel staff was excellent. We were able to leave our stuff when we arrived at noon. We walked over to a coffee shop, ate breakfast and walked to union sq where the stores are. Then we made it back to the hotel for check in.
