The room was okay. Not amazingly clean but not the worst I’ve seen. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but it was fine. The A/C was really loud so hopefully that doesn’t bother you. The worst part though was the constant smell of cigarette smoke in the halls on the second floor. It smelled like a cheap Vegas motel out there. Fortunately it never really seeped into my room, but it did get on my clothes when trying to leave the hotel every morning. I complained but nothing was ever done about it.

Good value. Close to our grandchildren. Friendly staff.

The room was dirty and staff didn't know the restaurants and not set up for business man who has to print or get airline passes for the next day.

While the overall look at first glance was updated and tidy. The bed and bedding was terrible. The mattress was smelly and lumpy! Bathtub and restroom again tidy and clean at first glance, however there were tiny bugs crawling inside the tub! This property while recently updated has underlying issues. I would not recommend a stay here. Just happy I traveled with a disinfectant!

Found pubic hair in my sheets, carpet turned my white socks black, horrible customer service. Had to chase someone down for bedding and toilet paper because nobody is ever in the lobby! We had a group of 5 families who all feel the same, 2 nights at $350 was a complete waste of my money. Then we asked for late checkout and they gave us 15 freakin minutes!!!

Freeway close! Room was poor quality amenities and not clean upon checking in.

Never been to this hotel before, but was really surprised by the lack of amenities and services. I get that must be their niche. The bathroom smelled like a sewer and there was very little water pressure. Overall, would not stay here again.

The hotel was great, but there was no-one at the desk in the morning, when I was checking out.

This motel is really barebones.the room was dismal and the take and go breakfast was unbelievably bad.

Booked my parents here to stay close to the house, but not IN the house. Close to everything and good value for what it is.

We stayed there 11/24-11/27. I am not one to write a review, however, I felt the need to do this public service. The hotel looked good from the outside, but once you walked in you were welcomed with an odor of pet urine, since this is a pet friendly hotel. If I could have taken picture of the smell I would. However, the air fresheners in the hallways should give you an idea. Since this is Extended Stay, you do not get maid service daily, unless you're staying 7 days or more, we stayed 3. This is a real inconvenience when you have kids. Bathrooms had mold, sheets on sofa bed were not changed from previous stay and the room smelled like pet urine. Don't get excited about their free breakfast either, it's literally just a couple granola bars, oranges, and coffee. Nothing for kids so be ready to hit up the local grocery store down the street. No pool or spa so nothing to do at the hotel to pass time. However, the customer service, "JR" especially, was good.

On the surface, this place looks good, but upon a little extra examination, it's lacking. The room is surface clean, but clearly things were missed... the shower vent was disgusting. The chairs in the room hadn't been moved before they vacuumed. There needs to be some quality control after the room is cleaned - we were missing lots of kitchen items and had no towels. Staff was just ok - not particularly kind or caring, but responded to requests. Weird lack of amenities - a hotel with no ice machine?

At an Extended Stay America, the last thing you have to worry about is cleanliness. You feel like you're in a professional environment , nice appointments in the rooms... But for the price I paid per night, I was hoping for something more than coffee and a muffin for breakfast... But hey, there is a kitchen in my room ;)

The single word I would use to describe this hotel is: "disgusting". Stay anywhere else

Stayed for overnight business trip. Not the best place I have ever stayed but not the worst. Some room supplies not in the best shape or complete in every room. Quiet hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy to get to and from freeway. I will stay there again for one or two night business trips. Starbucks closeby.

Very relaxing, perfect if your looking to stay somewhere where you don't have to worry about being bothered! We even Stayed 2 extra nights!

Great hotel just would have been better if the staff was more knowledgeable about there surroundings.

We were in town for one night only and wanted to stay close to the event we were attending. Front desk person was very easy to deal with, polite and courteous. The room was OK, pretty bare bones but did have a little kitchenette, full size refrigerator so someone could stay for a few days and not eat out all the time. Shower needed to be re-caulked, mattress wasn't the greatest. It served our purpose for what we paid.

The bed was a little hard but no biggie and I was on the smoking floor and so being a nonsmoker I could smell the smoke but it really was not bad. All in all it was great and I would stay here again!

We've found the Homestead Suites in San Carlos to be exceptionally good! It was very clean and quiet and the staff completely service oriented. We were very impressed and have stayed there twice now on trips to the Bay area. This is definitely our hotel of choice and would recommend it to anyone travelling to the South Bay!
