The low cost was paramount plus the location close to the Moscone Center. It was under extensive remodeling so it will be much better when all the work is done then when I was there.

Refund please. We love Carloss but please no. Very dirty.

Room was dingy, floor not clean, linens were clean, but room was never serviced the next day! I am guessing that any hotel under $99 in downtown San Francisco is shared bathroom, no amenities or breakfast and vary according to the degree of cleanliness and maintenance. The owner/receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, but obviously not concerned about the dinginess versus room rate. No remote for the TV, no coat rack or hangers, sink needed repair, lighting minimal, etc. Again you get what you pay for and this wasn’t the absolute worst place I’ve stayed (guesthouse in Turkey was filthier) but even i was disappointed vs my expectations. Location good for the Moscone and Market Street; Intercontinental was not far from here but the room rate was significantly higher, although I could have afforded it in hindsight. Europa please invest some money in upgrading and cleaning the place?

There is no central heating and air inthis hotel. Make sure you ask for a box fan because the rooms get hot. The staff are friendly. The bathrooms are down the hall, which is great if you don't mind sharing with a bunch of strangers. The hotel is next to several strip clubs and the noise goes on until the bars close around 2am.

The Hostel is so simple compared to other hotels around the city but what makes it distinct is you will Achieve the peace, privacy and comfort you are looking for to rest.. The manager has been supportive To whatever limitations you have and Will work with you in honesty And sincerity/.
