Room and facility, while clean, need maintenance. Door had a gap around it big enough to see through and bathroom caulk/grout had gaps. Shower head needed fixing.

great location from where we wanted to be close to

Multiple stays at this property. Very convenient for my visits. Walkable to a variety of restaurants and coffee shops, as well as some interesting shops.

I have stayed at this property before. It is conveniently located.

Very convenient location. Easy walk to restaurants, and good access to public transportation.

Well other then telling you they don’t have a public bathroom to a customers who are staying there was fine. I was furious when she said that and when she say go to the closer restaurant is by. Nod good.

Finally found a place that we can stay at every time we visit San Fran. Family was really happy with the hotel. Very nice, clean, and modern decor. The rooms were large and free parking! The front desk was nice and helpful.

The hotel was renewed and the style is amazing for our visit to San Francisco. Really close to the metro and bus stop, well located in Civic Center and breakfast was enough for start the day. I recommend this hotel!!!

My bathroom and bed had ants! Nothing like waking up to ants on your body. Also the toilet paper roll had a governor so you could only get a little off at a time. Not a very pleasant place. The toilet paper was annoying but the ant bites were unacceptable!

this room with two double beds was clean, modern and quite larger than I might expect for a room in this price range. I am happy with my stay and would stay there again in the future.

Worst experience! Place is loud and dirty. and staff are rude!

The room was very clean and centrally located. We did not like the noise made by the heater, hard to sleep and could not turn it off as it was cold.

I have stayed here once before, but it was several years ago. The neighborhood seemed a little better than the last time I was here, although I didn't feel unsafe the first time. The hotel itself was a welcome surprise compared to my last visit in San Francisco at a different property. When I was in San Francisco last year, I left exhausted as I couldn't get a decent night sleep the entire time I was there. There were huge fights outside the hotel every night and even one fight just down the hall where one of the individuals broke a window because she had gotten locked out of the room by the other individual. Thankfully, none of that this time. Despite being in a pretty central location with a fair amount of traffic at all hours of the day and night, the room was quiet and didn't really hear much road noise. The other guests were also quiet. I did hear some moving around in the morning from upstairs, but nothing too bad. One slight criticism was that there was a fair amount of noise from the plumbing - hearing others flush toilets, run showers and so forth. Again, not too bad, but thankful that most people seemed to keep similar hours to me. The hotel was nothing special, but the room was always clean and I had plenty of space. The mini fridge and microwave were nice. I stocked up on a few things in the fridge and it was nice to be able to do that. I will definitely keep this hotel on my list of places to stay in San Francisco.

The hotel is just OK. No surprise. A little expensive.

Hotel was good, but the location was the main selling point

A decent room at a decent rate only three blocks from War Memorial Opera House, and located on the bus line, #21, to R.R. ticket office at Ferry Plaza near Market and The Embarcadero. I was perfectly satisfied.

I hate hotels with outside corridors, which render windows useless. I wish you would specify it in your description of hotels.

Location, location, location. Hey its right in the middle of SF. Hayes Valley has lots to offer, food, shopping, and drinks, all within 2 blocks. A park is right around the corner with a couple of food trucks also. The hotel itself is fine and the rooms are clean. Parking for free!

But then, I wasn't looking for fancy for one night. Parking is free, is you can find a spot. Don't take your car out and come back late and expect a spot. I rated the individual stuff a 4, but overall a 3, as it could us a little "uplift". The "hot tub" is a bathroom jacuzzi - but good sized - not deep as the photos made it look. And our stopper did not seal well, so had to keep water running to keep it over the jets. Bit noisy through the walls, and our room was right next to the "maids room", and there was tremendous "chatter" in Spanish starting way too early for a Saturday morning. We got a deal so the value was there, but it is not worth the "going rate", other than the location and the hot tub! Nice people. Oh yeah... I left my computer charger in the room, and they are still searching for it? Would I recommend it... yes, if you want the basics and just a place to clean up and sleep, and be close the civic center/Hayes Valley area (lots of great restaurants and shops).

Unfortunately we are constricted by the size of the building and do not have a public restroom. The adjoining restaurant usually will allow hotel guests who have checked out to use their restroom however. Each of our rooms has its own private bathroom of course.
