The property looks like off campus housing that was converted to a hotel. Breakfast was no longer buffet style due to covid. It was grab and go, but it was limited, you can only get 4 items. The coffee was also frequently out. Parking is $22 a night and it seems a bit ridiculous if you have the space. On the day of my check out I got breakfast and I was doing some work from the room. I took a shower and was finished by 9am. There was a knock at the door from the house keeper. I said I’m in there, I guess she didn’t hear me so she opened the door when I was just in my towel. She closed the door. I put on some clothes and I opened the door. She was still standing there asking me when I was going to check out. Check out is at noon, I don’t understand what she was doing there. It was very rude. I told the front desk and they comped my parking, cool I guess. Train your staff better.

We booked for three nights at this hotel but we had to check out the next morning after staying for only one night. The room we stayed in was dark, old, smelly and very noisy. The hotel was not properly maintained.
The room wasn’t cleaned well. I didn’t use anything else.
We came in after 3,5 hours on the road and they told us that they have no room for us for the night, although we did have reservation.
Very conveniently located to everything in La Jolla CA. Easy, safe and secure overnight parking. Very comfortable, clean room. Excellent breakfast, good coffee and very friendly helpful staff.
