We had such a great time staying at the Cottages for our spring break! The location can't be beat! Sure, things are a little outdated but everything was clean and working. We will be back and have already told our friends and families that this place is great!
The property is in a nice location and overall was good. It is dated and our room wasn't the cleanest. There were areas that had not been thoroughly cleaned for some time. The amenities are dated. The refrigerator looked as though it had been beaten up. This is definitely a "party" area with lots of surrounding bars/eateries (which is fine if that's what you're looking for). It was, however, noisy with lots of people milling around. Most of them didn't appear to be staying at the hotel. Both nights we had people in the parking lot beneath our window talking loudly (2 and 3 am). The office was responsive to our complaint about this, but the people only moved slightly away when asked. It was an overall okay stay, but we would not stay again.

Just sad to see CA voters continually vote in the same people that don't give a rats ass about you or anyone but their own power, so it's sad to see crackheads at every freaking beach we go to, including a fight and arrest right outside of our window of the beach cottage. Entertaining, yes....but sad. Cali used to be such a beautiful place, and it seems that every place worth visiting is crawling with BS. Kinda like getting a nice diamond ring with a turd on it. Underneath is great, but no one wants to clean it up so that you can enjoy and see it. Nice job Cali!! Otherwise, great location, still had a good time. Nothing against the property.

We had a wonderful experience here. We will definitely be back. The ocean view from the third floor of the main building is amazing. I only have one complaint, well it’s really not a complaint but it’s a preference, I wish there was a tv in the bedroom of the apartment. The kitchen has pots and pans and utensils. And Ralph’s is right across the street so you can buy drinks and food. The patio had ping pong tables and bbq grills. The staff communication is wonderful. I just wish our trip was longer to use all the amenities they had to offer.
