It is a beautiful hotel and the price is moderate. The room is very big and had a kitchen to cook. But When I reserved the room, I wrote 2 adults and 1 kid. The bed was about 1.5 meters long. It was small for my family of three.

Perfect location. Close proximity to a number of craft brewers and right across the street from Green Flash. Need I say more?

We stayed in this hotel for two nights when bringing our daughter to UCSD. The hotel is conveniently located within 15 min driving distance to the school. The suite was spacious and very clean. Excellent complementary breakfast. The only drawback was that they are not cleaning rooms on Sundays. Will definitely stop there next time if price remain competitive.

Complimentary breakfast and dinner are nice. Room is clean. Front desk is very helpful.

Beautiful hotel with great staff. My only complaint was the air conditioning unit was very loud . It cycled on and off and woke me up all night long. The location is not very exciting- in between 2 gas stations next to a strip mall but it is close to the highway. Bed was comfortable, room was large. Breakfast was good- not cooked to order like Embassy but still a better selection than most breakfasts. I did not use the pool, bbq or sports court but they looked nice.

The price and quality of the room was definitely a value. The location was pretty inconvenient for getting to the beach. The map that the hotel was linked to made it seem a lot closer to La Jolla than it really was. The hotel is being renovated so there were construction workers on the first floor. The hotel security could be improved since the side entrances were open all night long. The room was nice, remodeled and convenient with the kitchenette and the bathroom set up.

We received a wonderful suite with comfortable beds and furniture. The room was very attractive and modern. The hot complimentary breakfast was good. Great value for our money since we booked over a weekend. More comfortable than any other hotel we've booked with our family in the past. Good location for heading to the beaches, or the zoo. Right next door to an awesome bakery.

We stayed at this hotel for one night on 7/12/2012, the whole experience was a great disappointment, we paid $250 after discount for a 1 bedroom suite but ended with a single room, there was no roll away bed available either. The swimming pool was drained, property was under construction but not posted on the website, TV was old style with poor reception, internet connection was poor, the "hot breakfast buffet" was just pastries and cold drinks. We were send to another hotel a mile away to use their swimming pool which ended up OK.

We had a great stay. Best room in town. Pool is small but never too busy. Great breakfast, they even had dinner three nights. Great location. Stay here if you want to have a great vacation.

This is our second time at this hotel. Again, the service was superb. The staff was friendly and consistently met our needs. The breakfast surpassed what one would usually expect for a free hotel breakfast. Our kids really enjoy staying here.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The bbq area was very nice as was the basketball court. The gym was a decent size, and the business center was really great- they offered free printing. Parking was free and the price was excellent for a 2 bedroom suite! I would definitely stay here again.

The Hotel staff were friendly the room was clean, the "beds" were very comfortable. The only thing I will complain about is the set up for breakfast first off all 4 days the coffee caffes were empty by 8:00 and not refilled so people had to go back into the severing area to get coffee and it was very busy in there, they had no one wiping tables off, the tables got very sticky and messy twice their were more people trying to eat than there were places to sit.

I loved the location of this hotel. It was 10 -15 minutes from all the San Diego tourist attractions. I loved the fact that I was in walking distance of a wide variety of dining options right next door. I liked being able to walk over to the grocery store which was right next door too. This hotel was a great deal for a suite hotel. This is a great hotel for a family with children.

this is a good hotel, close to sea world etc & good value for the money.

We had asked for 4 hypoallergenic pillows to replace the existing down pillows due to allergies, and they did so promptly and with a smile.

VERY GOOD

Although this facility was relatively new, it was extremely well-maintained. The staff was both professional and friendly. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a larger room when the front desk realized my grandchildren were adult-sized, rather than child-sized! We all really enjoyed the breakfasts--a great way to start a long day. Both granchildren discovered a new breakfast favorite at the hotel--sticky rice!! The location worked well for traveling both north and south, as well as locally. Using the GPS in our rental car, we only got lost twice and one of those times was on the way to the hotel from the airport. I am glad we stumbled across you!

The Staybridge Suites SAN DIEGO-SORRENTO MESA was very comfortable, and better than we expected! The room was a suite, much larger than most with a kitchen area and a separate bedroom. The bathroom was separated from the vanity area, just off the bedroom. There was a nice, long counter for dining, as well as a nice desk / table. The location was very good - central to our destination, and there were many choice restaurants close-by.

Great place to stay, the rooms were comfortable and very clean. My kids were able to stay in the living room on the sofabed and in a crib, respectively, and there still was room to roam around. While not close to Seaworld and the zoo and such, it was still well situated near the freeway and a great selection of restaurants was close by. Unfortunately, most of the restaurants in the foodcourt were closed, on Sunday, but still other choices close by.
