Sheraton La Jolla Hotel

3.5 out of 5.0

The foul musty smell was unbearable, the awkward bathroom layout and size made it extremely claustrophobic, mattress and linen were scratchy and uncomfortable, but the absolute worst was how a flush from any adjoining room was amplified. Stay away from this place, I know I will never be coming back

The hotel was average for a Sheraton. The pool area is nice, but the rooms are tiny. The bathroom was so small you could barely turn around. Staff was very friendly.

It was ok but it would be better if breakfast was lncluded .

Can't say enough good things about this place and its convenient location to La Jolla restaurants, Whole Foods Market and the La Jolla Playhouse. The only issue is the size of the bathroom which is really small for a full bath.

Nice quiet spot walking distance to Ucsd. Feels secluded and welcoming and quiet which is somewhat surprising given it is close to freeways.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel before and would probably stay here again in the future. Convenient La Jolla location and nicely maintained grounds around the hotel. Mattress was pretty firm and uncomfortable though, that is my only complaint.

Beautiful hotel. Smaller pool than expected. AC wasn't strong enough making it uncomfortable to sleep. Great location you can walk to public buses, restaurants and supermarket

Stay overall at the hotel was good. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi were great. Breakfasts on the other hand were overpriced, so we struggled instead to eat out for breakfast and there were not too many options around. There's a big shopping mall nearby, but under renovation. Parking is $15/night and you have to swipe your room key each time to enter or leave the parking lot.

Very nice and comfortable but had to wait over an hour to check in

Good clean and is worthwhile to stay. The weather is good in San Diego

its a nice hotel and is steps away from resturants, shops and cinema. The only down side of the room is the noisy air conditioner when the compressor kicks in. The fan is pretty loud as well. I had a hard time falling asleep due to the noise

You have to pay $15 dollars a night for parking and it's a motor court with the rooms far from the office. Service was good. You have to park there as there is no other place to park. You'r better off someplace with free parking as you will never spend 15 or more on gas . We were there 2 nights and that was 30 dollars extra.

Beautiful grounds, great location. Close to our family in La Jolla. Staff was great, very helpful. We would stay here again.

It is not what we expect. Hotel is getting old. The room looks darker without too much sunshine.

Nice hotel with alot of amenities. Would definitely come back. Parking fee was $13 per night

it is nice hotel, I will come back. the hotel staff service is good

This is our second stay at the Sheraton La Jolla Hotel. This is by far one of the best hotels we have stayed in California. You receive a great value for price: The room is large and spacious, bed is very comfortable, the room and hotel area is very clean and well maintained all surrounded with green plants, the amenities are incredible, including the swimming pool. Also, the restaurant has tasty ans unique food with great service - we ate dinner and breakfast there and in both times licked the plates. All in all a great place to stay if San Diego/La Jolla area. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and would certainly go back 3rd time and more.

This is a great location. Close to lots of restaurants, shopping, the beach, and the freeway. Grounds were very well kept, and the staff was friendly. The only downside is that the bathroom was barely big enough to open the door!

I had a wonderful time staying here. Personnel is usually kind, aside from someone at the front desk with a very low voice (I could here'em). It seems to me that the hotel is old, but it has many renovations that makes it comfortable at the end of the day. I didn't like the parking charge per day ($13).

The hotel is great if your business or activity i at UCSD. Clean, nice, with very nice landscaping. Rooms are smaller, especially the bathroom. The staff was very nice.
