This was the closest hotel to Mt. Woodson Castle for our granddaughters wedding. The only issue that I had was that there was no elevator. With both my husband age being up it was difficult to climb the stairs. But overall the room was better than I had expected for the price.

Really enjoyed our stay. The view is fabulous, the room very comfortable. If you want to be near a lot of shopping and activities, this is not the place for you. But if you want peace & quiet in a beautiful setting, you can't beat it. If you are a golfer, even better, as it is on a golf course. We will be back

Lovely golf resort, with very comfortable rooms, easy parking, excellent food and service in the restaurant and the lounge, nice pool with snack bar, tournament tennis courts and all rooms have a balcony with a golf course view.

It was a nice cozy hotel but it is literally in the middle of nowhere. There aren't any restaurants around the area so we were pretty much forced to eat at their hotel restaurant. This was not a bad thing because the food was delicious and inexpensive. One thing that did bug me was that when I asked if I could have a late check-out ( i was only asking for an additional 30 min) they said it couldn't be done because they were going to be at 100% capacity and must check out by 11am or I would get charged. I went ahead and rushed out of my room and then went to have breakfast. By the time I was walking to my car at around 11:30am, I saw that the cleaning lady was barely going to walk into the room to start cleaning it. That really bugged me because I was told that they would start immediately from the time I checked out and come to see that it didn't start till we left the premise. Besides that and the hotel being located in the middle of nowhere, I would say it was an average hotel stay.

Awesome staff and nice big room. Bed was comfortable, I just think they need to have the air conditioner blowing anywhere but on the bed. The room was very clean but the smell of cleaning products upon check-in was overpowering. I think supplying keurigs for the coffee service would be an improvement. Overall, very happy with our choice.

Make sure to bring a eye mask; lots of morning light shines in. Watch out for tarantulas, one was right outside our room! Coffee pot in the room was too small. Toilet didn't flush well: needed a second flush each time. However; good food with reasonable prices.

Great facility. A little too far out of the city but beautiful property. Great view of the gold course. I used the pool which was perfect. Food in hotel and bar was good.

Older place kept up nice. Big Fridge and clean. Cheap in house eats. Kids pool and adult pool make it nice. 3 mile hiking trail in front of resort. Your patio is facing the mountains and golf course. 6 mile drive to town. Good deal!

We were visiting family for the holidays and could find very few accommodations in this area. This hotel is in a beautiful golf resort in a lovely natural setting. However there is a noticeable lack of investment in upkeep. The room included a balcony with nice patio table and chairs set, but the chair seats were damaged and unusable. When we asked for seat cushions to make them useable, we were told none are available. Also, our 2nd floor room required climbing 2 short flights of stairs with a small landing in the middle. During our entire 3-day stay this landing was completely flooded with water, through which we had to walk to climb the second set of stairs to the room. Surely the housekeeping staff noticed this at least once a day, but it was never mopped up or removed!!! (Kind of weird) All that said, we still enjoyed most of our stay and the food vouchers for the very nice Oakes Grille dining room. Would recommend, with warning to request a ground-floor room.

Nice average hotel. I'm not a golfer but we were there with friends. Restaurant was great with reasonable prices, especially with the food vouchers. Entertainment was fun on the weekends. Amenities could be better. They are stingy with the towels unless you go to the front desk and request more for the pool. Some people reported early morning ruckus. The pillows were not comfortable. I definitely would not have enjoyed being in one of the lower level rooms with golfers right outside the window. Overall, it was decent but could use some updating.

Great hotel..nice clean room. Very nice employees. Great restaurant! Enjoyed our stay!

I have traveled extensively and my experience here was fantastic! The scenery, staff and room were all wonderful The price and service were both excellent. I would love to stay there again. WTM

We use San Vicente Golf Resort as one of our locations for Worldwide Golf Schools. The facility, the resort and the golf course are all well kept and the staff is great. Steve

Room had excellent view of golf course and was quiet eventhough located close to eating/drinking facility. Nothing around area other than hiking trail, golf course and residential housing. Food in restaurant was excellent for all four meals eaten there.

I took my wife here for her birthday and she loved it. The rooms could use a bit of updating, but the we didn't go here to sit in the hotel room. For the price it is well worth it. All the rooms have balconies that overlook the golf course and the staff was very friendly. We will come back for sure and next time I will bring my golf clubs to play what looks like a very nice course.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room was nice and clean. This getaway was just an overnighter. Ramona is beatiful. Great place to just take in the scenery and take nice hikes. Overall had a great experience.

I was in the region for work and wanted to stay local and avoid driving into San Diego. I couldn't decide which resort to book but the San Vicente had a restaurant so that sealed the deal. The service and food was excellent and the pool and tennis courts made getting a workout easy. Thanks again! Betsy

a little disorganized at front desk had an erroneous charge on my bill but corrected dinner was OK but could have been warmer

The hotel was GREAT! [...]

The extra bed price was expensive.

Thank you for your feedback. We are looking into creating more parking for the future as we have become popular. Thank You Jennifer Carbone
