San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina

4.0 out of 5.0

Easy to get to wherever we wanted to go. Food available at all hours. Only issue was getting in & out of self-parking. Third set of card keys finally worked.

Awesome time! Great hotel in a perfect location! Loved the tequila bar and the staff! Defiantly coming back to San Diego!

First time staying here, usually stay next door. Very nice hotel, but can be pricey at times. It was nice that the front desk provides free bottles of water, and free Wi-Fi for Marriott members. The pool looked amazing, unfortunately I was not able to enjoy due to weather and timing.

A very clean hotel and staff was great. The view to the Marina was beautiful and very close to a lot of stores on the boardwalk which was perfect for a good walk.

Had a great time...great views and pool....parking is a bit expensive $35 a day self parking ... $50 a day for valet....room cleaning crew could use a little attention detail

Very nice hotel within walking distance to Seaport Village and Coronado Ferry Landing. Nice pool area and best smelling hotel I have ever been in. Great location for using city transportation, San Diego Green Line Trolley stop located right across the street from the hotel. Very comfortable beds and great view of the Bay from my room. My children said the hotel was "awesome".

2 adults and one 16 year old, two double beds, terrible small. Housekeeping had to be called 3 times to clean room, no towels no clean glasses, no water bottles until 7PM! This happened 2 days in a row. Had to call front desk for service, said they were busy, really? Pool simply average. No choices for restaurants. Balcony view was highlight of stay there.

Got a room view change at check in from Ly. We had a toddler with us and she had a ball in the pool. No complaints at all. Very nice breakfast brunch.

Beautiful hotel. The pool is open until 10pm, just wish it was open later. Parking is 35 per day but the location and hotel is worth it. We were happy with our stay. Worth the 4.5 stars it has.

Great location close to lots of restaurants and historic area. Easy access to transportation and only 5 miles from the airport.

I paid extra for a bay view room. They failed to inform me that there was going to be an airshow (one that they advertised *in* the hotel) in the bay essentially the entirety of my stay. It was disruptive and made for an unpleasant experience. The hotel in general was fine, areas were nice, internet was slow, but if I'd been able to sleep, work, or enjoy my actual room, it'd have been a much better experience.

GOOD: Lots to see and do within walking distance, including great restaurants and attractions. Southwest view from my balcony was breathtaking. Room was clean and modern. Check-in was quick. Check-out was super easy too, with TV remote. Not so good: Starbucks inside the hotel didn't honor my complimentary birthday coffee offer. really? Valet parking was $49 A DAY!! but $4.50 for a birthday coffee was too much? I was really bummed. Also, elevators had kinda long wait times.

Staff was great, the hotel restaurant was fantastic. Excellent location to many attractions. Will definitely stay again.

I really recommended this hotel if you stay in San Diego. It was located near or a short walk to a lot of attraction such as USS Midway battleship museum, morning fish markets, ocean view restaurants, Convention Center, etc. For breakfast don't forget to go to this famous waffle restaurant just 4 mimutes walk across the street at Front St. Enjoy your San Diego visit.

All positives for my experience. Beautiful pool, nice gym, and close to everything. Hop on the train to old town and be there in 5 minutes. Same for the airport, USS Midway etc. We had a wonderful breakfast in the hotel one of the mornings, and some evening drinks by the fire. Great experience.

Great time, felt at home. Fantastic unexpected facilities, great helpful concierge, did not park, close to the airport and never heard a flight, great views facing east, super moon and sunrise

Upscale hotel, convenient location, walking distance to all San Diego sights. Great harbor views from many rooms.

Very friendly staff, amazing amenities, great design

My first choice of hotel when traveling to San Diego. Nice amenities. Great bar with a fun food menu. Excellent location to convention center and other attractions.

Overall, stay was ok. The rooms are not as child friendly as I would have hoped; my son hit his face on the glass topped side table.
