Good customer service
Staff was very friendly. No coffee available in lobby or in room. Room seemed clean but there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Shower faucet does not work properly. Difficult to turn off shower and gauge temperature.
It was a very quiet stay for my 2 nights. Balcony area is nice but could use privacy ahnings to separate the units. View was very nice of the harbor. This is a good spot to get away from the roommate. Lol
I was a bit concerned after reading the reviews but I made the reservation anyway as we didn't plan to spend much time in our room. The room and surrounding area was clean, felt safe, and was quite. We were able to park right outside our room. The place could stand a bit of updating as fixtures in the bathroom are not in the best shape. It would have been nice to have a mirror in the bathroom over the large counter area, but the one over the sink worked well enough. The bed was not the most comfortable and felt a little lumpy in spots, but it served its purpose. Our check in was great, we were able to check in earlier than the stated time and quickly got settled. The location was great, as it is close to Carlsbad and the beach area, and just a short drive to San Diego and Seaport Village. We would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were spacious and the view was amazing. The hotel was very outdated and the outside was dirty.
This place was very old dirty . I am very disappointed I left a cup of coffee with a slice of banana bread that I had just bought and as I turned around there were several cockroaches walking around . I let the guy at the front desk now and he dismissed it and said nothing . I checked out of the room The same day he did not apologize or let me know that he was going to reimburse my money ! Very disappointed

Disgusting green mold build up around the shower drain, stained curtains, spotted floors, uncomfortable bed. During these COVID times i hoped for a cleaner expierence but this hotel left me feeling uneasy. Even for the price I wouldn’t stay here again!
Smelled like mildew in the room.the roomvwas ok I likedcthe layout but very old feeling .
The receptionist was not friendly at all!! She did not smile or greet us. She was rude and made us feel uncomfortable like we were bothering her. There was no one else at the front desk or waiting to be checked-in so I don't know why she was grouchy. Poor customer service! Do not recommend this property on your website again. Drug infested neighborhood, right next to strip club, abandoned Motel 6 a few buildings down where people were loitering. I got panhandled by 4 different people within 20 minutes nearby. Run down old rooms/buildings. The sight and reservations said "includes breakfast"...what a joke!!! They only had coffee, black tea, orange juice, apple juice, milk, oatmeal, and cereal. NO toast, muffins, pastries, fruit, yogurt! I will never recommend this place to anyone.
For being a budget place it was surprisingly acceptable!
