Great rooms. Great staff. Definitely would stay again.

Great hotel. They were very family friendly and the staff was incredible! Very close to Legoland and Beach!!!

Very enjoyable stay at the Marriott. Well appointed room, very quite and clean. Nice kitchen and living area. Wonderful pool and spa (very clean). Enjoyed Breakfast in the morning.

We went for a one night trip to go strawberry picking and hit up legoland. we have a 3 year old and a 18month old and the fact that the rooms here were little studios clinched it that we would stay here. Not the cheapest room but the hotel is clean, in a great location with lots of places to eat (a few walking distance, but most are a quick couple minute drive), outlets, shopping, near legoland. the room was well kept, enough space for our family for a day. never got to explore the hotel or enjoy the dinner buffet, but the free breakfast was perfect, with enough to choose from for everyone. would recommend this plaace

This was a last minute decision and it was wonderful! The hotel was very accommodating, even when we needed to extend our days there. They let us keep the same room with no hassle!

a very clean, quiet home-like place in Northern San Diego area. very close to Lego Land, great running trails just outside of the hotel. The hotel is located in an area of business park of modern low-rise buildings, golf courses. Very beautiful surrounding areas for a morning run. Suites are with a full kitchen with all kinds of pots, plates and tools if you need to cook a meal for you and the kids. It is very close to a Costco store if you need to buy food. It is also very close to a Premium Outlet. An easy drive will take you to the heart of the charming Carlsbad village full of nice shops and restaurants. A great place to stay.

We booked last minute for a long weekend at Legoland. This place had a studio suite available. The furnishings were very nice, sheets were soft, staff great, close to Legoland. Only complaint I had was the AC didn't work in the first room. They moved us to another room, and although that was somewhat better, it was still pretty warm considering we had it cranked up and it was February. Hate to think how it would be in the summer. Loved the full kitchenette. Nice to come back and make a simple meal for the kids after a long day at the park.

Please do yourself a favor and don't stay here. The building is in need of maintenance. The air conditioning system is shot. The first room the air conditioning system didn't work. The second room had a soggy carpet from the leaking air conditioning system. The third room smelled musty from the air conditioning system. The furniture and walls are all beat up. They wouldn't let me cancel my reservation over the weekend because the only manager who can approve the cancelation was out on the weekends? There are plenty of other hotels in the area. The Rancho Del Oro Marriott down the street is new and in good condition.

We took our two grandsons to Legoland in Carsbad Ca. [...] booked us into the residents Inn. We loved our room really it was a suite. The whole family swam in the pool. The breakfast was a full buffet of hot items, but, The biggest surprise was the buffet dinner each night with wine and beer! The first night it was spaghetti the boys each had two plates!next night Mexican Tostados.Think of the money we saved by not having to go out to dinner each night. and Grandma and grandpa loved the free wine and beer!

I always stay at the Residence Inn Carlsbad for business and this time, I extended my stay over the Memorial day weekend and brought my daughter. We enjoyed things about the hotel that I usually don't get to appreciate when I am on business - the pool, the great location, the later breakfasts (still hot) on the weekends. And, I am a big fan of the staff at this hotel - they always treat me well and remember me each time I stay.
