Everything in this place is worth trying. Amazing SPA with lots of activities and services, very good food, great service, beautiful interiors and gardens. It is possible to pick up different packages and activities every day

There are two components to this restaurant; first is the "Pony Grill" which is the informal dining and bar area. There is outside seating here which is quite pleasant. The bar is extensive and one can order anything from Beer to the newest chic martinis. The second is the restaurant itself which is more formal and has a more extensive menu. It is an elegant and engaging place to dine, with a sommelier to assist with wine choices. We probably eat more often at the bar, just because of the informality of the setting and the chance to enjoy cocktails on the balcony.

we were fortunate enough to attend a wedding here. What an amazing resort and venue for such a celebration. The staff and service was beyond exceptional. The food (we had the short rib) was delicious and the accommodations exactly what you'd expect from such a place!

Fortunately this property was purchased by a well known billionaire that remodeled every room to perfection. The spa , tennis and restaurant facilities are world class. Is the perfect getaway retreat to chill and relax.

High specification throughout with an extremely well-drilled, friendly team of staff. Great touches such as a bounteous welcome amenity, well-stocked in-room bar and early morning delivery of fresh-tasting orange juice along with a newspaper. Very spacious bedroom and bathroom with a cosy terrace. Good food too in two styles of restaurant, one more serious and formal than the other.

Just getting around to writing a review for our fantastic stay at RV in early august. Had a wonderful time. Stayed in a Palm Suite, which was perfect for my husband, my son, and me. Loved the fresh-squeezed juice every morning. Tennis instruction was exceptional--particularly Arturo. We have eaten at some amazing places all across the world, and we were impressed with veladora. Very creative, fresh, and delicious cuisine. The chicken surpassed the famous similar dish at 11 Madison Park. Service was excellent throughout--always friendly and prompt. We liked it so much we booked another visit before we even left! See you soon, RV!

There is only one way to describe this place. Perfect. It is one of the most relaxing hotels in the world. Formerly (at least 30 years ago) it was a tennis resort. The courts are still there, but it is now a Relais and Chateau and well deserving of its membership. The grounds are impeccable. Each room is a free standing building or shares a common wall. The rooms are luxurious and large. Bathrooms are spectacular. The staff is always at your service from the maid to the Bellman/valet. The concierge is very knowledgebale. The Spa is beautiful. There are 2 pools, one a family pool and the other an adults only pool at the spa. The breakfasts are strong and priced inexpensively for such a luxurious property. Food at the hotel restaurant, Veladora, is excellent although a bit pricey compared to breakfast.

We stayed at RV this time last year and loved it (it was my first time, BF had been before). After providing feedback about a few minor issues, RV offered us a complementary one night stay which we gratefully accepted and redeemed last weekend. It was even more amazing this time, especially as we were given an upgrade to a Valencia suite with its own hot tub and separate bedroom. I wanted stay forever. Everything is done so beautifully, with the utmost attention to detail. Nothing is overdone, just tasteful and refined. Sparking wine offered upon check in, escort to our suite, everything so thoughtful. Our room was quiet, bed comfortable, bathroom amazing, toiletries in room very high end. Newspaper and fresh orange juice left at our door in the morning, what a lovely way to start the day. We'll definitely be back for a longer stay next time. Thank you RV!!!!!

We actually live in the area and travel quite frequently and always stay at really nice resorts. R.V. tops them all!!! We have been staying at Rancho Valencia for several years when we want a "stay-cation". By far....this is our favorite resort we have ever been to! Not only is it quite, private and beautiful, every single detail is 5 star. Every staff member treats you like you're the only guest on property. The spa is the best I've ever been to (and I'm a spa snob). The Pony Room is a must! Get the Neck Shot! YUM! I will continue the tradition of spending every birthday and anniversary here! A special thanks to Jennifer at the front desk for the outstanding service! Thank you R.V. for always making our stays exceptional!!!

One of the world's best boutique resorts - rooms and service are amazing quality. Dog friendly for our new puppy, adult only spa pool was perfect, food was also very good. Our casita had private patio with Jacuzzi, fireplace, steam shower and walk in closet! Just a beautiful, luxurious, peaceful and secluded property minutes away from Del Mar.
