The hotel looks nice outside, the area is a nice place but my room had old furniture and almost broken chair, no couch or sofa at all, people are too noisy around 11 PM, the hot tub was filthy smelling bad and the pool when we finally went in was cold. for a "Deluxe Studio" I was expecting something better. For Breakfast, no coffee there, you have to make it in your room and bring it down.

We booked a single room with two queen beds -- not a suite. I was surprised when we arrived at the lack of conveniences for guests, especially for how much it cost to stay there. Parking was paid instead of included with rooms. There was no elevator, and no bellhops, so we had to carry all our luggage upstairs. There was also no minifridge in the room, and the decor looked outdated. The rooms were comfortable enough though, and it is a great location. The grounds of the hotel were gorgeous, and the hot tub and swimming pool were nice. The breakfast room looks out over the water and was quite nice. Their breakfast in the morning was all cold items, but was not bad.

Our stay at this hotel was perfect! The rooms ammentities were up to date and clean. The view overlooking the water was beautiful and we loved hearing the sea lions. The one and only complaint I have is there's no air conditioner.

great view, comfortable, we'll priced, attentive staff.

The price could be dropped for the older rooms. The air conditioner really has no point, the bedrooms are small, bathrooms are not well cleaned or up keep; (soap scum, stapeled wallpaper). The good thing was the full kitchen, but not much to cook with. Close to the beach, but you only got one parking permit so we had to constantly shuffle to get the other car. The hotel said no pets, but I say three dogs! I had to call them to come get the trash and change towels, I guess we went to the beach after maid clean up, it was around noon and got back around 5. They do have a breakfast, but didnt know until the last day because checkin person didnt say anything about it. We stated three nights, it was alright but only worth half I think for what I paid.

Had a great view onto the marina and a bit of ocean view. Hotel seems to be older, but everything was functional and clean. Had a kitchen with fridge and a living room, too bad I didn't bring the family. We would have all had room to stay there.

Great Location. Hotel was in the middle of remodeling but it did not affect the level of professionalism. I would recommend that they move the breakfast time up for those who may not be able to stay till 8.

No air condition. Very old. Not clean. My kid cut his foot because there was a many pieces glass on the floor. Please stay away here. ㅠㅠ

Good location but it was humid day, no air condition is not fun and only one ceiling fan per unit.

The location is great, right by the water, the room was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. When we arrived the temperture was in the mid 90's, then we find out the room is NOT AIR CONDITION, that was a shocker. The entire Hotel is not Air Condition, and thats find if they would disclose it at the time you are about to book it not when you arrived. I would stay again but only in the Spring or Fall.

Not what is said to be on the site!! The pool and grounds were very nice! Staff was nice too. Continental breakfasts consist of small boxes of cereal, yogurt and muffins and NO milk or coffee!!!! Sure the room has a coffee maker, dirty one, but they didn’t have any coffee cups in the room. Why have a coffee maker when cups are not provided!! I had to go out and find a nearby restaurant for breakfast every day!!!! I would not stay there again and I would not refer a friend!!!

We really loved the location of the hotel. It was close enough to the shops and restaurants on the harbor, it made for a nice walk. If you opened your windows, you could hear the seals barking. It was a very nice hotel, and we would definitely stay again!

It's really hard being in a ling distance relationship ( although Vegas is not that far from Oceanside.) but still it was nice to wake up in one of the most comphyest hotel beds I've slept in, in a very long time... love waking up to a full kitchen and breakfast in bed, then taking a nice walk along the beach was just perfect. the room was bigger than my apartment, lol. loved the fireplace we couldn't figure out how to turn it on, and the front desk guy was so nice and came right down to light it for us. loved loved loved this place. we will definitely be back!

Must come! They have breakfast and a cool light in the swimming pool. In the room, there is a fireplace. This is the first hotel my dad ever thought it was great.

Everything was great! The pool, the room, service, just everything. Will be staying here again.

i was in room 158 suite manager give it to as because I wait till after 4pm the room was not ready. we like it was nice next day 8-19-2014 shower room was not clean and no big towels in bathroom .and dusty. in swimming pool was 4 young boys jumping throwing 2 yrs baby girl from out side the pool to other boy in side the pool in front his mom breakfast was oky normal every other thing garden very nice and location nice.

The hotel was not what we wanted. Old, terrible parking and no amenities. We upgraded to a newly renovated room and it was not even great. No restaurant or anything extra. Two floor climb dragging luggage is not my idea of a relaxing spot. It looked like the best Oceanside had to offer, so I would move on up the coast.

I reserved a 2bedroom 2bath. Full kitchen and living room. The room I was given was awful.. Smelled old, Filthy carpet, dirty appliances.. Nothing like the pictures. After a complaint to the front desk I was given another room. The new room was updated and more modern. Be aware there is NO AC at this hotel. It get pretty hot in the rooms. The grounds and surrounding area is beautiful. Would stay again but you really need to call ahead of time and request an updated room.

I looked up pictures on their web site before I booked. They looked very nice. When I checked in to my 1 bdrm suite it was not at all like the pictures. It was old and very aged with nasty carpet stains. When I told the front desk I wanted a room like the pictures show. They said it was an upgrade and I had to pay $30/day more. The difference between the rooms was huge. Nothing on their site says they are an upgrade and no aged pictures were shown. I feel like this was a bait and switch. So beware when you book if you want a nice room to pay a lot more.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The location was very nice, we had a harbor view, which was entertaining as we watched the boats come and go. The harbor side seemed quieter than the ocean side. The room was large(1 bedroom/king suite), but needs updating and the couch exchanged out.. Some of the rooms have been updated, but not the one we had. Since there is no air conditioning, ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom would be a nice addition. There was a free harbor small boat tour (Captain Gary) that was informative about rentals, restaurants, and things to do in Oceanside.
