Checked in at 1 am (12 hours after my husband); received my key and slipped into the room quietly. No hassle; no double-checking with my husband.

Good location can walk everywhere Bed was hard as wood back is so stiff now

Had no idea the hotel was walking distance to so many great restaurants and shops!

Great location in the heart of the La Jolla, walking distance to everything. Clean, comfortable and reasonable price for the location. A little misleading as they consider floor 2 "upper floor" when booking, but balcony was fine. All Staff was very friendly.

Although, I give this hotel a good review...I found it odd no continental breakfast..It stated it was included . Which I think its bad business to mislead customers

Stayed for 4 nights, loved every minute of it. Would highly recommend.

A really beautiful and updated hotel with class and elegance but still that comfy easy beach feel. The staff was fantastic the room was very clean and we really enjoyed ourselves.

We chose this hotel for a recent family wedding, and are so glad we did. The photos of the hotel on Orbitz don't do this great hotel justice. The hotel is spotless on the inside, and has amazing staff. Everyone was so helpful. Rooms 513-516 will cost a bit extra, but the view more than makes up for it. La Jolla is such a great location, shopping and restaurants everywhere.

Everything is good. Pool is good. Breakfast could be better.

This hotel was great, we didn't have to drive anywhere everything was walking distance even our kayak was walking distance. Had a great experience here and the breakfast was great!

Hotel is a little aged, but is in a good location.

hotel was great. staff were very friendly. room was very nice

I've stayed here 2 years in a row, in 2013 and 2014, for Spring break. The staff is pretty good and do whatever you need them to. I had a partial ocean view room with a king bed and it was very beautiful. The room was clean but wasn't anything special. Needless to say, it was good for the price (about $380 for 4 nights). There is also a good complimentary breakfast with more than just pastries. The location is perfect if you don't feel like driving or you want to go get a drink and not drink and drive. Beaches are very close and there are tons of bars and restaurants withing walking distance! I highly recommend this hotel!

Great location for walking to everything in La Jolla. Very pleasant staff. Walls are thin, so you can hear your neighbors.

Very helpful staff, walking distance to EVERYTHING. Renovations going on, but the noise was kept to a minimum. Free breakfast a very nice surprise. Recommended.

This hotel provided a solid three-to-four star level hotel experience. It wasn't glamorous, but it was very functional, and it provided a wonderful value--located a couple of blocks from the coast and in easy walking distance to a variety of shops and restaurants.

Pleasantly surprised that the inn was so convenient to restaurants and beach. Really enjoyed afternoon tea and coffee in the lobby. Breakfast was more than expected and great seating by the pool indoors or out. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would reccomend this inn to anyone staying in La Jolla. We got an adorable mini crib for the baby which was very convenient too. Thanks Days Inn staff!

Got there 2 hrs early. Not a problem. Asked to be moved to a first floor room. Not a problem. Asked if I could leave my car out front. Not a problem. Asked for extra towels, extra coffee. Not a problem. We were only there for one night, but the location is great. The rooms are in need a a facelift, but we paid to be in heart of the village and we were. You could walk everywhere. I would stay there again. My son loved the fact that breakfast was available next to the pool making it easy for an early morning swim. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Room had a fridge and a microwave too which is great when traveling with little ones.

The staff was super attentive. We got fresh towels every day automatically. The bar staff knew us by name and drink after one happy hour there. They even recommended that we sneak up to the 10th floor to the Skyroom to check it out even though it was closed. Great venue there with a view for small private parties.
