Loved it basically. I stay at a decent amount of hotels and this place way straight up bang for the buck

Enjoyed the ability to ride bikes around shelter island. We weren't there for long but we were a bit disappointed that our mini fridge wasn't cleaned. When we opened it there were 2 glasses with beverages in it that had spilled over. It was gross! Also parking there is $16 a bit steep

It was a very nice hotel. Great location to all the San Diego classics, but far enough to be away from the traffic. This is a new hotel for us to stay out and thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Quiet location. Harbor adjacent. Spacious Rooms. Enjoyed the place so much that we extended our stay an extra night,

I love this hotel. The only thing was the air conditioner didn't work that well so it was a little hot in our room.

The hotel itself is very expensive, so the value for the money is not great. It isn't in a beautiful location or anything, and on top of the room expense, they charge you $10 to use the pool and facilities, and $16 to park overnight. You have to pay for parking since there is no overnight parking anywhere near there. You also have no choice but to pay the 'resort' fee. The rooms are nice and roomy, but there wasn't one hook in the bathroom to hang a towel. Also, the shutters over the windows are not room darkening by any means, so when the sun comes up, you wake up. Lastly, when they 'upgrade' you to the bay view, you are really getting downgraded to the parking lot view. The only great thing about this place is that if you are going to see a concert there, it is very convenient.

The staff at check in was tremendous! I had messed up my reservations and they fixed the problem for me with a minimum of difficulty. The hotel was great, parking secure and the rooms were spacious. Overall - a good experience. What kept the review from a 5 all the way was the concert venue noise. I was aware of that element when i made the reservation, so there were no surprises.

We spent 3 awesome days here and totally enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms, wonderful staff and we also had some amazing meals at their restaurant. The grounds were very clean and lush..

Bungalow style rooms, on the harbor. Nice restaraunt on site, live music. Great stay!

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were nice and the property was very accommodating. We loved staying here and would definitely come back. We didn't mind our 9am bird alarm either.

Stayed here for graduation. Was recommend by the college. Stayed in a Jr. suite. This hotel needs to be remodeled. The bed was in such poor condition it sagged in the middle. I left after a multiple day stay with a backache. The bathroom floor was filthy. I will say that the front desk staff here does a great job. They are pleasant and professional.

Great friendly and helpful staff! Best experience in a long time. I will not hesitate to stay there again and in fact plan on doing so.

We had a wonderful 2 day stay at Humphrey's. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Loaded with amenities; pool, hot tub, restaurant, bar ect... We'll b back.

Hotel is nice but kinda far from tourist attractions. The bathroom sink had an awful odor of sewage for a few days and we had someone look at it but it wasn't fixed. Overall it was a nice place.

Brought my 18 & 20 year olds to San Diego for spring break/vacation. Humphreys was recommended by a friend. Good choice for us, beautiful setting, convenient location to start & end our days. Minutes from most major attractions and airport. We really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed in one of the tropical rooms for 5 nights and overall I enjoyed it. The rooms are nice but if you get a room with a patio near the pool, there will be noise as people walk by often.... The landscaping is beautiful and the staff are very attentive.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Humphreys. The employees were both caring and attentive. I would certainly stay here again. They have a great pool/hot tub, offer late night concerts, and even include bike rentals.

Went for a conference and had a great time. The weather was awful but it was still beautiful. Our suite had a clean well appointed full kitchen, comfy beds and a clean bathroom. The food was great and the proximity to the airport, town and other restaurants was really convenient.

We had a great time. Check-in was quick and efficient. Room was beautiful with decent sized fridge and microwave (which we weren't expecting!) And of course a coffee maker, coffee and lots of cream & sugar provided. We had a room with a view that overlooked the putting green, lots of palm trees....you'd never know you were just in San Diego! Room was very clean. Had a good sized desk for setting up computer. It was within walking distance of most everything. We were only there for a few days but we had an excellent stay. Would definitely stay there again!

Great place to relax and enjoy the outskirts of San Diego on shelter island!

Humphreys, with its lush tropical grounds, is located on San Diego Bay’s Shelter Island. This 1.3 mile long peninsula is surrounded by water, offering sparkling marina and bay views plus a quaint, bay front walking path. Your dissatisfaction in these features is disappointing but we are delighted you enjoyed the concert in our intimate, marina front venue. It genuinely is a special way to spend an evening and experience a favorite artist. We regret that you are upset with our parking and passport fees. We take great measures to ensure all costs and fees are fully apparent during the booking process and before the reservation can be confirmed. We appreciate the feedback and hope that you will still enjoy concerts with us in the future.
