No lights in the bed room. Very bad ...not enough breakfast ......they said they'll fix the issue but they didnt

My girlfriend and I came down to SD for the warped tour. The guy at the desk let us check in early since we'd be at the festival all day and would want to come straight back and pass out. He even allowed me to print my tickets on their computer. i was even able to leave my car parked in the parking lot since we took an uber. Once we got in the room, the bed was big and comfortable and the tv offered a lot of channels to watch a movie and fall asleep. Their was a mini fridge and a microwave which came in handy.

Scariest location ever. Didn't realize it was in a dangerous area because it had 2 stars.

Everything was ok except for the bed. The blanket had burn holes in it and the bed kinda fell in.

We love San Diego there is so much to do there. We were on a get away and went to Seaworld and Belmont Park. The hotel was a quick drive on the freeway to were we wanted to be. It was nice and clean. Has great friendly staff. Continental breakfast was good to. It is close to the freeway so you could here the freeway traffic at night. But otherwise peaceful.

a cheap hotel with good no of amenities like free wifi, bfast, microwave n fridge in the room and clean rooms and bedrooms..is only minutes away frm the SD attractions and downtown, would stay here again if coming to SD

Very pleased with my stay. The location was central to the affair I was attending. The room an bed was very clean

location is somewhat sparse so you definitely need a reason to be in National City. You get what you pay for and all I can say is I was humbled.

Average / Ordinary is about as accurate as it gets. You get what you pay for and the HOJO was cheap.

The first room I was checked into had a broken toilet but I was able to switch rooms to one with a functional one. Location is by the freeway but it wasn't noisy.

The inn is located at a very good area, near to free way, nice restaurants and all of the major attarctions. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The room is totally good for the price as it is equipped with all of the basic necessity. The only complain I have was the microwave, which stunk from previous major burning or some other accidents by previous tenants. Overall it's good!

It was a great experience!

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and affordable and the staff was friendly. When you just need a place to sleep and shower, and you don't expect frills, this place is for you.

Very good large home like room. I wish they give lotions and have clock radio in a room.

only one chair,

Hotel was clean but limited: small pool, continental breakfast very limited in choice and not very good.

The room sink and tub did not have the stopper in them. I contacted the manager on duty and he told me that they don't have them in the rooms. I asked for one, but he said no. The door into the room didn't shut well and the noise level outside the room from the traffic from the freeway and main street was so loud that I had to sleep with the radio on to music to drown out the street noise. The pool is extremely small and the jacuzzi might hold 4 people. The location is not for children as their are homeless people and the neighbor hood is less than desirable. They offered a continental breakfast in the mornings in which they had stale danishes and the orange juice can out of a dispenser, and it was so watered down it was terrible.

I was a little concerned about what I would find because while recent reviews were great, some of the older reviews were pretty negative. My fears were put to rest however. The woman at the front desk was very nice. When I inquired about the distance from the San Diego Zoo, she made a copy of the google directions to the zoo and gave them to me. The room was very clean and I slept very well.

Great location. Very friendly staff. Great Breakfast, and very clean rooms. Would recommend this to others. We were there for a trip to seaworld.

It was a bit sketchy at night - in the evenings, the "lobby" isn't open - one has to go to a window. As a single woman, I was intimidated by the men in the area while I checked in. [...]. I will say that the room was very clean!
