Hotel Indigo Gaslamp Quarter

3.5 out of 5.0

The room is well decorated. Looks great which why it was so disappointing to sleep on a cheap quality mattress. The bed would go all the way down when you sit on it and I could hear the springs. Something you'd buy at a second hand store. I had to sleep on the other side of it to get a more firm area. The receptionist where very inexperienced and could not help me when I complained. Way overpriced.

I was delayed for 5 hours but one phone call to Amanda and she held my room

I was in town for the week at a trade show at the convention center. The hotel is walking distance to the convention center and all the restaurants. The staff was friendly, rooms were clean and the experience was very good. I would stay there again

Super convenient and affordable, nice hotel. Staff was awesome, especially Sergio, giving us parking advice and restaurant advice. Very much appreciated. Good vibe in the whole place.

Hotel was very pricy, but understandably so.... It was in the middle of Gas Lamp Quarter where all the clubs and bars are. Great view of the Padres baseball stadium from the roof top as well. Employees are nice and respectful. My one suggestion is the valet, one guy working at once makes a long wait for your vehicle.

Had work in the area, my wife and I flew out early and spent the weekend in San Diego. The hotel is on the southern end of the Gas Lamp district, in the shadow of the Padres' stadium. The staff were friendly and helpful. The outdoor bar on the 9th floor was fun. We were in easy walking distance to the Gas Lamp district which offers numerous restaurants, and live music. On Saturday we walked to the marina and toured the USS Midway museum. Valet parking is available, but is expensive, $42/day. Our room was clean and most adequate, but not special. The bed was comfortable.

Wanted to try Hotel Indigo and this one came up with a terrific price in a great location (easy access to conference center) during a business convention. A solid bargain and desk clerks were very helpful and overall nice friendly staff that made us feel appreciated. Rooms clean and nicely done. WiFi could stand to be a little faster (but then true with most places.)

Wow! We loved everything about our stay. Room was so comfy and quiet! Staff were super friendly. Our pooches couldn't be happier too. Everything you need, bar, restaurant, view. Can't wait to return!

This is a great modern hotel right in the Gaslamp Quarter! I stayed with my girlfriend and we both enjoyed it! Size of the room we had was excellent and very stylish! So much life and great places nearby. Walking distance to a lot of great entertainment, food, and fun! I'd stay here again and highly recommend it!

All the hotels we stayed in SD had a pool except this one. I never stayed at indigo hotel before, but all of the IHG hotels I stayed at always have pool. Very dissaipointing. Although the location is really good, close to Petco stadium. I also wish that you market more that the hotel is pet frienfly hotel. We ran in to lots of dogs when we were there, wish we knew that this hotel allow pets with not extra charge.

RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE!!!! FREAT PLACE FOR ANYONE AT ANY TIME!!!

The staff and location were so perfect. Really enjoyed my view, the baseball stadium! Valet parking was so simple and convenient .

This is the best hotel I have been to that is pet friendly , no extra cost . The hotel is very up to date , the food was great the rooms were sweet , will stay here again

Our overnight stay was great!! The rooms are pretty large! The hotel staff is very friendly and are always helpfull. great location with wonderfull restaurants nearby.

Overall nice place. Great location. Didn't know what to expect. Property is well maintained and being near the gas lamp quarter makes it a plus. Employees are real friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here in the future and will recommend to friends and family.

Hotel was very cool. Stayed for a veterinary convention and staff was helpful with direction on where to go for food.

Great overall experience. Food: Good restaurant downstairs and decently-priced drinks at the bar. Location: Location is very good, too. Right by the Gaslamp district. Lots of construction in the area but not enough to be irritating. Rooms: Very comfortable bed clean room. Rooms are spacious with ancillary seating. The internet is also speedy enough to accomplish work-related tasks on. Amenities: No pool and gym is kind of small so knocking a point off for that. No free coffee downstairs. Staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel is worth the money.

I was only there for one night with my little dog (maltese). Had a great time and loved that you could take your dog everywhere! Did not seem like a hotel which allowed dogs, with how clean and well kept it was. I do wish there was pool and they had food and drinks available through the night, but you can just walk down the street for it too. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

The hotel was awesome. Very near to our destination. Hotel staff was very friendly. The room was amazing, very very nice. I would definitely stay here again. Great experience at this hotel. Highly recommended.
