Close to eating places. Enjoyed browsing Thrift stores in the business area of National City and Chula Vista.

It wasn't until my 2nd night did I realize that I did not get the size room that I had made reservations for.

Great hotel for the price. There was construction going on in the surrounding area but didn't effect the hotel much other then the entrance.

Our a/c was broken when we got there and they said they would send someone but never did then we called again and a finally they sent someone but he didn't fix it. I stayed there 2 nights in a hit miserable room and they didn't move me rooms or give me a discount when I asked for it.

From the entrance to the elevator ofcourse in the room smell like a cheap spray stuff. The hotel staff don't have skill to handle very tired customer by driving. Other wise not special but so so hotel.

The hotel location had easy excess to the highways that made our trip easy to get from and to our travel plans to the zoo, beach, casino, food places, and to the airport. We would stay again for our next trip that will be longer then two days.

It was our first time in san diego and we had a good time. The hotel was clean, breakfast was good and the front desk staff were very nice and helpful! Beds were comfortable!

The staff was cheery and attentive. As soon as I arrived they greeted me and the check-in process was efficient. The room was very clean.

We really like the location because we can easily get to my sons home in San Diego which is a military housing complex, It's easy to get to the Base, Sea Port Village and not a bad trip to the Airport. The staff really are exceptional, pleasant and accommodating. The hotel isn't for a person looking for elegant, but if you want a clean, pleasant experience with a hot breakfast and workout room this totally fits the bill. It is NOT within walking distance of tourist attractions, shops or beaches but the drive to these places is not bad. It is near shopping and restaurants. It is an affordable option for someone looking to spend some time in San Diego.

The Hotel is nice. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They hotel clerk answered all questions and even gave us a book, of things to do in SD. We got to the hotel 3 hours before check in and they allowed an early check in. Also they allowed us to do late check out without charging any extra fees. The Hotel is very clean and they have continental Breakfast included which was pretty good. The only downside that i found was that is far from downtown SD. If you have a car, than this might not be an issue but if you are taking public transportation then you have to make sure you get the bus schedules.

Great comfort and very clean room... I defently would recommend this hotel

Hot breakfast was the highlight. Difficult to access hotel into oncoming, fast traffic with bumper-scraping curb. Nowhere to print out boarding pass- must have receptionist do it for you. No decent food within vicinity.

The service was very good starting from the staff to amenities, and the location was also good, few minutes to get to the downtown. The only thing that was not good it was breakfast. There was not a good variety of stuff to eat.

We came to take our freshman daughter to college. It was less than 15 minutes away, and the hotel was even closer to the San Diego Zoo, the airport, the Harbor, Downtown, etc. The room was clean and attractive, and there were no insects. I liked the colors of the room and the bedding. The beds were not quite soft enough, but were still okay. I like that each bed had four comfy pillows. There was a table, chair, dresser, and a large cabinet that contained an ironing board. I stored my suitcase there out of the way. The TV was nice and worked well. For some reason, some of our clothes and my make up brushes were moist. San Diego was unusually humid during our trip, so maybe that was the reason. The bathroom was clean, and the shower worked well. There was an area outside of the toilet/shower area, which contained a sink and a mirror. That was convenient for allowing more than one person at a time to get ready. We had enough towels, and Housekeeping did a wonderful job. They always came to the room when we weren't there, which was nice. The FREE breakfast consisted of choices of bagels, toast, really good cinnamon rolls, and cereal. There were eggs that were different every day, i.e., cheesy, plain, etc. Sausage was offered- one time paddy, another time- link. I didn't see fresh fruit, but apples and oranges were available throughout the day and night. My husband and I used the fitness room, which included an exercise bike, a treadmill, an elliptical, and a weight machine. There was also a scale and a container of water. You will have to bring your own cup/bottle. There was a pool and a hot tub outside. I didn't like that you had to go into the parking lot to access them. The hot tub bubbles didn't work, so I wasn't too sure if it was completely sanitary. The business area consisted of a computer and a printer. It was extremely easy for us to print our boarding passes- a lot better than having to do it at the airport. All of the hotel staff were very friendly and cordial. They greeted us, smiled at us, and were helpful. They even let us check in early and pick which floor we wanted to stay on! The area outside of the hotel was nothing special, but there were fast food restaurant choices not far up the street. It wasn't an area that invited walking around, but it didn't feel unsafe. The lobby had several places to sit, and newspapers were available to read. Unfortunately, the ice machine was only on the second floor, and the elevator did not invoke my 100 percent confidence. In summary, I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again. The staff were nice, the room was clean, the food was fine, and the amenities were helpful and useful.

The staff was exceedingly pleasing and made every attempt to keep us comfortable. however the bathroom door needed to be replaced. kitchen aide was very helpful with trying to help me make a waffle. Thanks,

Thank you for your review of our hotel. Sorry that you didn't get the room requested. Occasionally we will get guests that will book a run of the house booking. This means they will get a room that is available at the hotel but not guaranteed a room type. The person will put in a request for a certain room type but at the hotel we have to assign it to what rooms we have available that day. We always try our best to accommodate all requests but occasionally if we are already sold out of a room type. If this is the type of booking you made then we apologize that the day of check in the requested room wasn't available.
