It started off bad. The hotel really should warn they are a 10/15 min walk from the border and that it's recommended their guest have their passports on them since one wrong turn could lead you to another country. When we got there the lady at desk looked like she was getting agitated with the customers in front. Once it's my turn she's a little snappy and the line behind me is getting bigger. She tells me the room and give me the key card, I go get my stuff and head up to my room. I'm able to open the door while someone else was occupying the room. There was someone's personal belongings and I was able to open the door. Went down to tell her only to be received by attitude and annoyance. She gave another room along with a sarcastic "I'm sorry about that". The next day we had the "do not disturb" sign on the door but room service still knocked about cleaning. I said no and pointed to the door and she says "oh I'm sorry,I'm sorry I didn't see that" and leaves to another room. Definitely not staying at a Holiday Inn again.

Spent the night with my wife. The entire facility is clean. We enjoyed the spacious room. The morning breakfast was tasty with so many options. I would recommend staying here.

Love everything. It literally in the middle of nowhere but for what i need it is perfect location. Staying here every weekend.

It had everything we needed for my family to stay one night.

This is a great clean hotel. The price is reasonable, the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The down side is that this hotel is a little far from the city center, but for the price and cleanliness it's worth the extra 15 mins.

The beds were comfortable and the price was good. The room in general was nice. However, there was a general lower end feel to this holiday inn. There was no hot tub, they did not replace towels or take out trash. I had to go to front desk to pick up towels because there was no staff. Buffet was not good. Drain was broken in shower & took 2 days to fix.

Room was great. Staff was friendly. Breakfast staff earns a perfect 10 for assisting me with breakfast 30 minutes after breakfast closed!

My room was clean and comfortable. I like a nice bed and bathroom. The bed was nice with plenty of pillows. The bathroom was clean and had great lighting. Hotel is located close to the Otay Mesa Border crossing, which I used to enter Mexico, that is the main reason I choose this hotel.

Everything seemed clean and comfortable. Newer big screen TV and nice decor throughout the room. Microwave and fridge in each room also. We did not hear any of the plane noises, or at least not enough to mess up your sleep. it did have interior doors which is nice for Southern California. Breakfast had sausages, bacon, waffles, fruit, scrambled eggs, pastries and cereals. Our only comment is that the breakfast area seemed really dark and gloomy, needs more light. Also the staff was not particularly friendly, not rude but not real talkative

Overall the hotel was comfortable. Location is kind of hidden but not that much of an inconvenience.

the hotel was really nice. i was unfamiliar to SD and chose a hotel that was way far from everything. lol. But it was very clean and breakfast was good :)

This trip was very relaxing and the hotel had great customer service. I loved the location that is not too far away from the city yet not too close. The rooms are clean and spacious. I will definitely return to stay at this hotel soon.

It was great...really clean hotel room, super comfortable beds! Stayed right by the swimming pool everything was absolutely perfect!

Stayed there for 2 nights. Cleaning service didn't even clean my room despite the fact that we asked them to do so at the front desk AND spoke to one of the cleaning ladies. I had 4 people staying in my room and I only got 3 towels, was completely ignored when I asked for more. Our last night we complained at the front desk they claimed we had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door so they didn't go in, which was a total lie. Then the girl said she couldn't do anything about it and that because we resorted to using a website like this for our "financial convenience" that she couldn't even give us a discount if that's what we were looking for, Which is completely offensive because all we wanted were clean towels and linens, more toilet paper and for someone to take our trash out. The morning before we left we spoke to the manager and his staff lied to him and claimed that they knocked on our door in the morning and we VERBALLY told them to come back later. I was awake at 5am and NO ONE knocked on our door, I was truly insulted that the staff was basically calling me a liar, The swimming pool is also tiny, there's no hot tub which I wouldn't even be complaining about if I hadn't been so disrespected. Which one of the front desk girls felt the need to suggest that if she was me she wouldn't be feeling disrespected. Management needs to do a better job of checking that their staff does what they're getting paid to do. There's another hotel not too far from there that I'd rather try out next time. For $500+ for 2 nights I'd expect better service. I assure you I won't be going back.

Great hotel, not exactly the location we were looking for. It was about 25-30 minutes from the San Diego airport, very close to Mexican border. It worked well for us, though. Hotel was very clean, staff was nice, and the price was right.

It was good staying here with our family for couple of nights.

Good Experience. Close to couple of corporate plazas.

Nice location and decent hotel for staying with family.

Hotel/room was clean and worth the price. The only problem that we found was the the hotel was far from everything and initially hard to find.

food was good, room clean, nothing out of the wold..I would stay again there if I need to.
