Hilton San Diego Bayfront

Room was an average room similar to Las Vegas or Laughlin. We had a great view of the Dole Fruit trucking plant and got to spend some quality time watching a boatload of fruit being unloaded. When we had enough of that we were able to view the railroad yard and all the trolleys that were being stored there. We also had great views of the Coronado Bridge and the freeway. Other than the showerhead in bathtub blowing water all over the bathroom floor it was great. Next Year? I doubt it - probably scope out a place in Little Italy or the Gaslamp.

Very disappointing hotel for a staycation. Do not buy the breakfast package--very long waits for a table and you can't order off the menu. There's only one restaurant which appeared to be very poorly managed. One day we gave up and walked into town to find breakfast. The pool was always full--no chairs. Layout is strange. Good news was that dogs are welcome at only $75 charge for whole stay. Room service was efficient with pretty good food but very limited selections. Location is convenient to the Gaslamp and Petco Park. I've stayed at a lot of Hiltons, and this one rates very low.

Were given our room early. All expectations were met. People helpful and friendly, and food very good. Well located.

Parking terrible. Won't stay there again. Self park $35, and have to fight for a spot with all Padres/ visiting team fans. Hotel shares lot with baseball stadium. To make maters worse, make handicap park far away, trying to find spot. Don't dare leave once you get a space, no matter how far you had to walk. Terrible!

The hotel itself was nice and well maintained. The hotel staff was severely under trained which was disappointing. To be fair the propert is beautiful.

We booked here because of its proximity to PetCo Park. We came down to San Diego to attend a Dodgers Padres Game. The pedestrian bridge made accessing the park a breeze. I was surprised by the fact that the hotel charged us to self park. Usually if you are staying at a hotel parking is complimentary. The room was lovely. The beds were super comfortable and the pillows were perfect. Most hotels cheap out on the quality and number of pillows on the bed. Hilton did not. So Bravo. The Hilton is also within walking distance of 30 bars and eateries, the gas lamp district and of course the convention center. All over it was a great location. I would book here again.

Love the place great place to stay with family very friendly staff. Make your stay very special and relaxing!

Great trip to see an NFL game with the children. Large conventions happening simultaneously that did not affect the great service we received. Breakfast buffet was AMAZING, dining staff in Vela OUTSTANDING! Wish they had a Guest Laundry area.

Bed was comfortable.. Room was a bit small though.. Breakfast was decent.. Didn't provide refrigerator that we requested..

Very poor restaurant. Had to send back place setting because food was not cleaned off from previous diner. Coffee cup was also not cleaned and had coffee stains on the outside from previous user. The next day we at the restaurant we had the rudest wait staff in our experience. Staff at the desk was unfriendly. Only helpful and courteous staff was the woman who cleaned our room.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. When we entered the room we noticed their was no refrigerator I called down and asked for one and they brought it up.

Nice hotel. WiFi is not very good at the hotel.

Gorgeous view, friendly staff, clean. Wonderful customer service. Parking is steep but the best deal u will find. I will be definitely be going back.

I didn't like how they treated me I just didn't like my stay at all I felt uncomfortable

My daughter is in a wheelchair so I wanted to valet, until they told me it was $50. Ridiculous charge, and regular parking is no different at $35.

We were there for a friends Naval promotion to Captain. We got in early and the bellhop took care of our bags until we were ready. The concierge hooked us up with a massage for my wife in the spa. The rooms were comfortable, clean and modern. The view from our room was amazing. The pool area was nice as we sat at the outdoor bar and had a cocktail. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

Bad beds Dirty room Very noise because of been close to elevator and this is where the premium rooms are located Staff sucks very impolite specially the lady at the concierge working yesterday Saturday 21

Clean room. Nice corner room view of bay and city. Bathroom linens were not replenished. Expensive breakfast. Peculiar lobby entrance created congestion of cars.

This is such a great location and a great hotel. Great staff, the rooms were nice, incredible views, worth the upgrade. It is less expensive then some of the other hotels and has all the same stuff and more. The pool is amazing and they have a kids area. Great hotel!

My husband and I decided to get away and the Hilton was nearby our daytime destinations. Our room view was beautiful, staff was friendly, and they reversed our parking lot fee during a game day. Great visit, definitely a place to recommend.
