My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our four-day stay at the Hard Rock Hotel. The hotel was conveniently located near everything in the Gaslamp District. Restaurants, the stadium, and other activities were within walking distance. In addition, the hotel staff was great, the room was clean and I loved the decor. The pool was very nice with the warm jacuzzi, the cabanas were awesome with the lounge furniture and flat screen TVs. A nice touch was the lounge area near the pool with the fire pits...it was very romantic. My husband and I usually prefer to stay at smaller hotels that offer free parking and free breakfast. However, for the Hard Rock, we will definitely make an exception. EVERYTHING and EVERYONE was exceptional! We certainly will stay there again when we're in San Diego.

Unique rooms. Very comfortable. I especially loved the bathroom. This hotel offers free use of bicycles and electric guitars. The atmosphere was top of the line modern and tasteful. I have already recommended this hotel to several people.

Great hotel and experience. One unadvertised perk that I love is they will provide you with an electric guitar with effects pedal board and headphones for use in your room. Awesome!

A great day with the perfect location right now getting of the gaslamp Quarter hotel always has a lovely smell and it's super clean. Nice pool party on Saturday too! Right across from the convention center also. Grab your coffee for a great early morning walk

My experience staying at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego was the worst hotel experience that I have ever had in my life. The room above me ended up flooding and consequently flooded my room as well. This is understandable, but what was shocking was the fact that the hotel's management team completely ignored the situation and failed to accommodate me and my guest even though they were aware of the situation. We were left in a flooded suite until checkout. I would not recommend this over priced hotel to anyone.

Everything was great! Wifi was awesome. I even got a complimentary guitar to play overnight. Walkable area. Friendly people.

The hotel is located where the gaslamp district begins, convention center really close and ball park just around the corner. Try the NOBU restaurant for dinner (awesome) and get breakfast at Mary Jane.

Great location! Fun hotel! Loved the deeper balcony, loved the music channels , wish they had a iPhone jack to run my own music.

First impressions was excellent, friendly staff and quick check in. As soon as we got off the elevator we saw numerous stains on the carpet that look like puke. The room was nice but the floors were crusty and the layout is terrible. The toilet is in the middle of them room. I stayed in the two queen suite and was in town on business with a co-worker. Nothing more awkward than using the toilet while the other has not choice but to listen.

Our experience was not bad. The full size beds were comfortable, however not big enough for two people, For the price of the hotel, they should provide at minimum a Queen sized bed. Housekeeping was okay, they never did vacuum our room and we had to ask for replacement towels often, but they did turn down the beds nicely. The staff was friendly at all times. The location was nice, close to a lot of activities. All in all our experience was good, but for the price could have been better. AF

I stayed in the Hard Rock Suite and enjoyed every minute. It is well worth it. I definitely will be back soon!

Excellent hotel. Very friendly staff from every aspect. For example, I went to look for an ice maker but found myself at the pool bar. Rather than just directing me to the nearest ice machine. He actually offered some ice for my ice bucket. Very classy!

Very nice hotel, staff was excellent. Rooms are very nice but if you're modest it can be a bit strange. The shower and bathroom have frosted glass walls that are fairly transparent. Small detail though, very good experience overall and the location is perfect if you want to go to the Gaslamp district, Petco park, or the convention center.

Nice place , had to change rooms , first rooms AC didn't work room was to hot. 2nd didn't like that I had to pay almost $50 for valet parking Just for one night stay.

Not worth the price , nothing to do in the hotel, too much rap music, food below average

The cleanliness and stylishness of the hotel is appealing, however more amenities would be nice without being charged for extras.

First off hotel staff was great, check in was a breeze but once we got to our room we were disappointed, I booked a corner room with a view and got just that a room with a view of the side of the building and roof top HVAC units running all day and night causing the room to be humid and uncomfortable . If you stay here make sure that you request a room above the 4th floor, booking through Orbitz does not give you this option, you book it and get what you get, not good.

great stay- hassle free, clean room, exciting location

I thought the hotel was good but I don't think it was worth the price.

Got a suite with balcony top floor for less than $200 awesome views, room was very cool and modern, enjoyed the music in hallways , cheap parking short walk away recommend by staff instead of $48 a night, awesome staff, J Hendrix , cool cat . Will be back. Live music 7 nights a week right down the street

TJ, we're so happy you chose our hotel. We're thrilled our location didn't disappoint and that our staff took good care of you. I'm sorry our unique bathroom layout didn't meet your expectations. Our modern layout is sometimes an acquired taste. We hope you will change your mind and stay with us again the next time you are in town. James G. Manager
