Clean hotel, great location, many things to do and easy within walking distance.

We went for 3 days and we had a great experience. The Hotel is in a good location, clean rooms, breakfast is a plus and friendly staff.

Very, very nice hotel. Next to everything. Wonderful view loved it.

Great location, the breakfast is very good, the staff are all kind and helpful.

Great experience. Location is exceptional. Near the midway and maritime museum. Train traffic is a bit much, but didn't disturb my sleep. Breakfast ok, just a typical hotel breakfast.

Really enjoyed the hotel, very clean. Good breakfast and close to all the area attractions

the only way I would ever stay here again is if I had an interior room. we have young kids and while the thrill of seeing the train crossing from the hotel room window wore off, the endless clanging of the train day and night ( past midnight ) is something I will never forget. I felt let down because I asked the front desk smiler if the train was going to be noisy and he laughed it off. Even so, hotel was quite nice.

This was a fine hotel for a quick stop on a whirlwind tour of the UC system. The complimentary breakfast was a bonus.

The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. The location was very centralized, so it was easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. The breakfast was also very good.

We were here 4 weeks earlier for another wedding and our experience was not so good. They put us in a smoking room when we specified non smoking, then put us in a dank 2nd floor room for handicap access with no bathroom counter space. This time around, we stayed on the 5th floor and the room smelled and looked clean. However, like the other room, the iron didn't work. Elevator from garage was still hot with no ventalation, the room temp. in the hallways is 77 degrees, which is sweltering. Don't know why they don't bump up the air.

The Hotel was awesome! Me and my husband wanted to get away for one night and this was a great choice! Will be staying here again!

Room and amenities were great. I thought it was a comfortable hotel for a short trip in San Diego. The only thing I did not like was there was a train stop right next to the hotel and the warning sound was about every 15 minutes from early in the morning to late at night. The hotel did give us earplugs though.

nice placeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee bad location......................................

the hotel is in a convenient location, and the staff was friendly. I needed a crib/pack and play for my son; I called ahead to request one and it was already set up in my room when I arrived. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and the staff was prompt to replenish items as they ran out. My only criticism is the parking situation. The parking garage is rather small, with small spaces and narrow aisles. Especially challenging when there are a lot of large trucks parked in it.

Hotel is centrally located to downtown, gas lamp quarters and the harbor. A bit loud as the train runs right behind the hotel. Good value and great breakfast!

Walked to restaurants in Little Italy and the Gaslamp district. Room was very nice with coffee and fridge. Also a great free breakfast and coffee all day in the lobby along with daily newspaper. Used the free wifi also.

Clean, good value, convenient location. Parking was $12. Train tracks right outside the room but bearable with ear plugs.

Nice location for business travel. The free airport shuttle service was the selling point.

We stayed here for two nights to participate in the running race. The hotel opened their breakfast specifically at 4 am for the runners and shuttled us close to the start line even though we could run/walk to the start if we wanted to. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Trolley is right behind the building so it's convenient to get to the Convention Center for Expo. Little Italy has tons of restaurants for carboloading. All in all, a fantastic spot with great value.

Good location as it is close to little Italy and other places to go at downtown San Diego. The Hotel is clean and the price is not bad. The only thing I didn't like is I could hear the foot steps of people above our room and also you could hear the sound of the train when it passes.

I'm so pleased to hear you liked the hotels location to so many things but I'm sorry we did not move you to a room located in the front of the hotel away from the trains. Please let me know if you will be returning so I can assure you a great room. Sincerely, Mark M
