Eveything worked in the room, amenities OK, location is very convenient, bus stops are in 3 min wlk, cleaning is good, staff is excellent, breafast is Spartanic for such price but that was that bloody Comicon event so the prices went up. I recommend to stay if you accept the motel like quality.

Room condition was not good. Only 2 out of 6 lights in the room were working. Lamps weren't working. My mom stayed there for 3 days and housekeeping did not come once to clean and change towels.

Just a Regular Extended Stay. Basic stuff, room was stuffy and had a musty smell. Office is open only 7 am to 11 pm after that you have to use the call box on the outside to call the over night person. Holiday Inn Express, or Hampton Inn is better. This is just above a Motel 6, maybe around quality of Days Inn. Only thing here is you get a full kichenette with 2 burner stove. No daily room service.

Nice clean and spacious hotel room. Convenient parking. Basic breakfast - coffee and snack bars/plastic-wrapped muffins/oatmeal packets.

Breakfast is TERRIBLE. Literally there was Nothing to eat. Comfort INNs are the better than what you provide.

I was pleased with my stay here. the room was clean, and well put together. The area was nice and quiet and the staff was very polite and professional.

My sons ages 21 and 17 stayed at this hotel while checking out colleges on the West Coast for the 17-year-old. The younger one woke up the first morning covered in bedbug bites. The hotel staff paid for them to use the commercial dryers to sanitize all their belongings. They put everything including backpacks and shoes into the dryer for 30 minutes at high temperature. The dryer melted their shoes . The hotel staff did not offer to reimburse their bill or provide any other assistance. Pictures show bedbug bites on his face and arm. He also had them on his thighs and torso.Big thumbs down

The location was great close to many attractions. It lacked some of the amenities of other hotels have. It's more of a monthly or weekly place.

For access to Torrey Pines without the usual TP price tag, this hotel is great. Nice amenities too. Otherwise, the bathroom was not well cleaned. Staff was notified but seemed disinterested conveying an attitude. Also don't overlook the fact that there is no room service because people usually stay for an extended period of time. Not sure about that logic at all! Knowing these two things in advance will help you manage your expectation should you opt to yield to thrift over a modicum of nornal hospitality.

Overall stay was ok... However, work up to brush my teeth and saw a huge roach in the bathroom. He ran under the sink. Totally disgusted me. First bed bugs and now a roach. For the money you pay to sleep here rooms should be cleaner.

Had to be in La Jolla early the next morning but didn't want to spend too much. This hotel was perfect. Nice decor, well maintained and cared for. Immaculate really. Convenient location not too far off the 805 and a quick trip (1 more exit) to the heart of La Jolla (UTC mall and UCD Medical Ctr). The closet covered with a hanging drape was a bit off-putting. The mattress could be more comfortable. These two flaws are relatively minor in the context of an immaculate, well cared-for, pleasant looking hotel at a very reasonable price. We will return.

Extended Stay America is an affordable hotel with a pleasant atmosphere. Air conditioning systems are a little outdated. But the kitchen comes in handy :)

It was in a good location and staff was great. Gonna come back

Staff was very friendly However they make every attempt possible to have you out by 11am Was called once at 10 And the maids knocked on the door 3x. Kind of unpleasant

I went to this hotel for some quiet in order to get some work completed. While the staff was courteous and the hotel was quiet, The bed was infested with bed bugs. Luckily I saw them before passing out as these little creatures are known to venture only at night. I ended up sleeping on the floor... Not happy about this hotel.

I had multiple issues with this hotel. First they provided a smoking room instead of a non-smoking room. Next day i got to move to non-smoking room. Still the towel are having smoking smell. They had so many delays to provide the kitchen utensils. Finally after 3 reminders they gave the kitchen utensils and it was not properly cleaned. I will not recommend this hotel to my friends.

Perfect time visiting my family. Perfect location to take them to eat

I have stayed in hotels from different star levels. This certainly deserves an average rating. The only negative experience I encountered was a leak issue in the bathroom. The hotel staff promptly resolved issue, however, the leak repair was ""redone" the following day without my consent. In other words, my hotel room was re-accessed without prior notice. Their complimentary breakfast was somewhat disappointing, they call it "grab and go", and literally that's all you get...nothing hot, no orange juice...just grab yourself a partially ripe fruit or granola bar and that's it. What a way to begin a new day in paradise!

When I stayed my room didnt have any hot water. it made my stay very uncomfortable

Had an outstanding trip at the extended stay. I will recommend to friends and family

We sincerely apologize if our housekeeping services were not shared with you at check-in. While our housekeeping service is designed for long-term guests, offering minimal intrusion to their home-like stay, we are happy to offer this service to you at a minimal fee. Towels and linens were to be exchanged at the front desk anytime and complimentary. Again, I have noted your concern regarding the fused lights and the same has been shared with our maintenance team to check your room and fix the issue immediately. We hope you will choose to stay with us again. Sincerely, General Manager

Upon hearing any information about potential bugs we immediately take action as we take these comments very seriously. Our management team is trained to detect such activity and are proactive to check our suites on a regular basis. While we believe this is an isolated incident, we thank you for letting us know so we could have our pest control company come to investigate and treat as a precaution based on your feedback. We apologize for the minimal concern displayed by one of our staff members. We would like to have another opportunity to impress you on your next visit with us. Sincerely, General Manager
