Hallways are not being vacuumed. You can see food crumbs as you walk to your room. Elevator floor not being cleaned. Elevator entrance not clearly visible

Hallway smelled like weed. Breakfast not the greatest options. Great place to stay for a night maybe 2.

nice hotel ,clean .closet to fun places in San Diego.

Okay first off they charge you for parking at this hotel even though when you book it says free parking. Also they are doing contruction on this hotel so its super loud and it smells

The demeanor of the desk clerk was far from welcoming. Otherwise it was fine.

Speedy checkin and checkout. Dawn and Britney were friendly, prompt, and professional. People like that make me want to go back. Thnx and see u again.

The room looked like it was not acupied for a week or 2 it was dusty. . There was a bunch of wrappers behind the dresser so I think that they just go in clean bAsics so it looks good they don't wave under and behind things just around so who knows if room was ever wipped down or nyst garbage picked up??

This hotel is likely the most outdated hotel I have ever stayed at. The bed was questionable, along with the very old/gross sheets and top blanket. Very much the opposite of luxurious. The hotel staff was kind enough to waive the $50 parking per night fee because we arrived later in the evening. However, this fee wasn't even mentioned during booking and is a ridiculously expensive parking fee. We also stayed at the luxurious Hyatt in La Jolla and parking was only $25 per day...underground, secured parking as compared to $50 for a standard outdoor parking lot at this hotel. One could describe this hotel as "ghetto", if stated in one word. I would never stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone. I have worked in a traveling sales job for years, and have plenty of history with hotels all over the United States. They need major renovation...major.

The staff was very attentive and even called to check if we needed anything

I booked this room for a one-night stay in San Diego. It was difficult to find, being more inland than the other hotels on Hotel Circle Drive. There were no utensils in the full kitchen, there was a brown marking on the toilet flushing handle, and the floor itself smelled of cigarette (not sure if smoking or not to be fair). Would not stay here again.

Dissapointed with the state of facility, very outdated. The bed was not comfortable. The kitchenette was completely empty. No dishes, glassware, cookware, untensils. You could request at a additional cost. This was not explained on the website.

The room was adequate for sleeping, with easy access to San Diego and local shopping. Free parking was plentiful. The kitchen equipment was junky, with the burners for the stove not supported and bent, and the ventilation for the stove vented directly into my face (not out of the room)... That could explain why the smoke alarm was missing (just wires hanging out of the ceiling) when I checked in. All of the silverware that was provided looked like it had been used as some sort of tool at one time or another, all bent up and damage. When I reserved the room, I did understand that they only service the rooms once per week, but I expected them to vacuum the hallways daily, but I don't think that happened in the 2 1/2 weeks I stayed there. There was debris (food and other) all over the hallway. For all the guest rooms in the hotel, there were only 6 washers installed, and for most of my stay, only 1 or 2 were operational. Overall, I was disappointed with this hotel, and think It could have been a much better experience.

I stayed here for a few nights during Comic-Con 2016. I arrived much earlier in the day than check-in time but the staff worked to locate the best available room so I wouldn't have to leave and come back at the check-in hour. The management had made a nice Comic-Con gift bag for attendees, and had a nice conversation with me about Comic-Con while they worked to find a room. The room was nice, clean and well kept. Extended Stay America rooms have a mini-kitchen (stove top, full fridge, microwave, cabinets, etc) which would be cool if I was staying there more than a few days. The building has few amenities and no restaurant but I wasn't really there for that so it didn't bother me. They do have a grab and go breakfast setup in the lobby. It's pretty bare bones (coffee, a couple of fruit selections, packaged pastries, packaged oat meal, etc) but was nice to get a cup of coffee in the morning. My only minor complaints were that the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke and the stair well where I entered the building smelled like garbage. The room itself had NO weird odors. Overall, nothing fancy here, but nice people running up a nice, affordable hotel.

The beds are terrible. I would move and the bed would make all this noise waking up my wife and my kids on the other bed. I'm used to being really comfortable in a hotel, that's why you pay good money.

The staff was excellent but the overall condition of the hotel was poor. The halls and rooms had a very musty smell. First and last time I will be staying at this hotel

The staff was very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

elevator did not work, hotel staff asked me to leave my room as I was getting dressed for a business meeting. Fire alarm testing occurred where the alarm went off in my room while I was in the shower, 2 hours after it was notified the testing would occur.

Overall it was nice stay, though there isn't much available nearby. You need to drive at least 3-4 miles to get food or basic grocery, if needed. A guy told there was a vehicle break in before the night we reached there, but we didn't notice during our stay. I think overall I was happy with the choice considering the price but staff could have been more helpful.

I've stayed at other Extended Stay America hotels in the past and this is by far the worst one! The entrance exterior looked like it hadn't been cleaned for weeks and the trash bin was over-flowing!! The room had a funny odor and the shower sucked! Never again!

Not fancy, but right where we wanted to be in San Diego
